The TBSP Jagiellonian University discipline ellipse invites you to a unique technological conference entitled ,,Legal and doctrinal Heritage of Pope Benedict XVI’. It will be held on 28 September 2024 in Krakow at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University, in Larisch Palace at 12 Bracka Street.
As the organizers emphasize, the aim of the conference is to approximate Benedict XVI's widely understood legacy. "We plan to place peculiar emphasis on the ecclesiastical normative acts issued during his papal office. However, it seems impossible to research ghost rights issued at the initiative of this Pope, without leaning over his doctrinal and theological achievements, with peculiar emphasis on encyclicals and another forms in which he taught not only the church, but the full world," they point out.
As they add, “another field that we would like to examine in peculiar during the conference is how Pope Benedict XVI ruled the Church compared to his predecessors and successors on the throne of Peter. In addition, we would like this conference to be an chance to get closer to the character of Joseph Ratzinger and his works."
