On the Committee on Public Finances, I raised the subject of cider exemption from excise duty. I have pointed out the example of Spain, where 0% of the excise work is applicable to wine – which is their regional pride.

If they can defend and advance their products, why shouldn't we do the same with Polish cider? This is simply a simple change that can aid the full manufacture and let our national specialty – apple – to gain a fresh life on the market. Today, the task may not yet pass. But in 2 years – erstwhile we are the Confederate, we will co-ordinate Poland – it will become a reality.
