In the media, 1 of the news of the day is the cancellation by way of a referendum by Mrs Zabrze. She held office for a year. She was supported by the Civic Coalition. She was accused of group layoffs and general spending cuts.
Zabrze is indebted to over PLN 800 million. The city budget for 2025 is about PLN 1.5 billion. 19 of 25 councillors voted for specified a budget. Which is besides important, the City Council has not been cancelled. respective 1000 votes were missing. Opponents of KO delighted with the President's appeal. They consider it a good forecast before the Sunday elections for president of Poland. How can you be so stupid?
Zabrze is in a situation akin to Stalowa Wola, but that Stalowa Wola is in a worse position and is simply a 3rd word governed by the Law and Justice. In Stalowa Wola, the city's debt is much higher than in Zabrze. However, in Stalowa Wola, there is no referendum on the dismissal of the President, who is liable from the beginning to the end for the disastrous situation of the city. In Zabrze, the president took over the debt from her predecessors. In this debt, the outstanding debts were significant. What would any liable individual in the place of president Zabrze do? Ano would gotta cut the cost of the city sooner or later. This simply means exemptions, increases in taxes and charges, and the cancellation of at least a large part of the investment. You just can't. In the Zabrze, they didn't understand, and in Stalowa Wola, they have no idea. As far as I know, the cuts in Zabrz's budget weren't very painful anyway.
I don't know how many years it'll take to get Zabrze's finances back on track. I know it'll take more than 10 years to get Steel Wola's finances back on track. specified a situation bodes poorly for both Zabrz and Stalowa Wola. For the full picture, let us add another comparison of these cities. Well Zabrze is 1 of the fastest populous cities in Poland. Stalowa Wola, on the another hand, is the fastest depopulating city in Podkarpackie Voivodeship.
So president Zabrze cancelled and there will be fresh elections. Whoever won them will gotta collide with giant debt and empty money. say the PiS candidate wins. What's he gonna do? Here's another likeness of Steel Will and Zabrz. Most of the people in both cities are economical dummies. They are completely incapable to combine reasonably apparent economical facts into causal relationships. The first is to know that debt cannot be indebted unless it is certain that a debt can be repaid within a certain time limit. The second fact is that the improvement on credit usually ends in bankruptcy. And the 3rd fact shows that whoever pays off the debts of his predecessors, painfully cutting expenses, earns the hatred of the voters. It's like individual hates a surgeon who amputated his leg with an infected gangrene. specified a fool first of all does not resent himself for allowing the leg to become infected, and secondly, alternatively of thanking him for saving his life, he hates for amputating the affected limb. In the complete deficiency of knowing of these processes regarding a large part of the inhabitants of Zabrz and Stalowa Wola, it is my opinion that no 1 has yet been disappointed, who counted on the stupidity of Poles.
According to the ranking of the Polish Academy of Sciences Zabrze, it is at the forefront of Polish cities that are the fastest to degrade. Steel Will is among them too, but this time for a importantly better position than Zabrze. From all these facts it follows, among another things, that both Zabrze and Stalowa Wola do nothing good. any of the residents in Zabrze seem to have cancelled the president's ulcer. Well, they didn't cut any ulcers. He's only gonna fire a surgeon who tried to cut the ulcer more or less. Everything ahead of them. In Stalowa Wola, a large part of the population has no thought that the city is becoming a swelling ulcer and you must urgently look for a surgeon who dares to cut the ulcer, clean the wound and watch over the long healing process. The later it gets done, the more it hurts.
In this vital, very painful operation, 1 of the biggest obstacles is to complete the stupid stubbornness of local governments and in Zabrze, and in Stalowa Wola. After the referendum in Zabrze and immoveable in Stalowa Wola, it can be seen that the partisan tendencies of taking over and maintaining power by mediocrity take even the smallest amount of common sense, allowing to see and realize that the interests of the city, not the party, of the cateries that govern or want to regulation in the city, should be the most important. Well, that's a real shame about Zabrz and Steel Will.
