The real limitation of the access of Polish children to pornography is the aim of a legislative initiative jointly undertaken by the Centre of Life and household and the Ordo Iuris Institute. The signature collection has already started.
"Today, according to investigation by the NASK State investigation Institute, the average age in which children first encounter pornography is... little than 11 years! As many as 73% of children declare that uncovering pornography is not hard for them, and all 3rd teenager admits that he has first encountered pornographic content accidentally!”
According to statistics, more than all 5th kid aged 12 – 14 watches pornography all day. In addition, all fourth, at least erstwhile a week. So many teenagers are already afraid of being addicted to this devastating drug.

"Time to say STOP! We declared war on kid depravity. Following the example of countries that have entered into effective restrictions on access to pornography, we have prepared a law and present we are asking you to aid us carry out a citizens' legislative initiative" we read.
A fewer days ago, there was a collection of signatures under a bill aimed at forcing pornographic content providers to verify the age of users. If they do not comply, their sites are to be blocked. "As with bookmakers' websites," the household defenders point out.
Last week, the Marshal of the Sejm approved the proposal to registry the legislative initiative committee. Before the organisers of the action, the task of collecting at least 100,000 signatures within 3 months.
"This is simply a substance of large importance, which is why we truly request your commitment and support! Both in the collection of signatures and in the assembly of funds to advance the initiative" - appealed: lawyer Rafał Dorosiński from the Board of the Institute for Legal Culture Ordo Iuris and Marcin Perłowski, manager of the Centre for Life and Family.

“We have been talking about the fact that unlimited access to online pornography is simply a tragic pathology for years. Many social organisations, politicians and journalists besides saw the problem. But it ended with breaking hands in the sense of powerlessness. However, we have consistently paid attention to the effective solutions that are already being implemented in the next countries of the planet today," stressed representatives of family-friendly organisations.
They indicate that the laws on age verification on pornographic sites are already in force in 19 U.S. states. In 2025, specified regulations will enter into force in at least 3 consecutive states. Where restrictions were introduced, the "consumption" of pornography fell by as much as 80 percent.
"In the UK and France, implementing acts are under way due to the fact that laws prohibiting children and young people from accessing pornography have already been adopted. Yes, left-wing governments in Western countries see the scourge and effects of pornography. All the more reason to deal with this in Poland too" - noted the initiators of the project.
According to last year's nationwide investigation conducted on behalf of the Mama and Papa Foundation, the regulation of access to pornography for minors in Poland supports as many as 88 of our countrymen.
"We besides ask for your individual participation in the collection of signatures. This commitment will be of large national importance. The collection can be conducted among household members, friends and friends, brothers and sisters from the community, at work, in the parish or even at the most frequent points of your village. Our experience of the collection has shown that many people are happy to support this project!"
So far about 20 social organizations have joined the action.
