Rest is simply a legal position linked to a pension equivalent to a pension. At rest, judges are transferred to a certain age or wellness condition. They may rest, but accustomed to action sometimes are inactive active in the public space, and as independent, they sometimes act politically to the detriment of the judiciary and the state, e.g. by calling for violations of the law and independency of actions from the Constitution, even if they have co-created it. Such a “rest” condition is even dangerous for the functioning of the legal system.
Similarly, soldiers are transferred to rest, including generals, who in this state are lecturers, and even rectors of military universities, including the Academy of War Art. Generals at rest, after training in the russian Union, can pass on their experiences from the past era to a young military staff, which causes concern regarding the state's security.
The anticipation of transferring professors to remainder is sought by academics. For example, prof. Kaniewska (the head of the Polish Academy of Sciences – Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools) believes that the state of remainder for professors will let for the exchange of generations at universities, due to the fact that “often older, well-deserved professors stay at the university and block jobs that could affect young scientists”. The fact is, however, that even very old professors, even if they are no longer on the job, can influence promotions or younger dormitories projects, sometimes to the detriment of science.
Even 40 years ago, in the days of the “Jaruzel” I demanded that those dormitories who harm discipline be transferred into the condition of harmlessness. At the time, however, it was considered that I was harmful to the pests, and that is for them (usually "dirty" in the technological terminology of Fr J.M. Bocheński) harmful and it was for me, as part of the self-defense of the pests, that I was introduced into the disciplinary way for disposal. But the legal position of the state of harmlessness, which would be beneficial to the pathological academic domain (and not only), reduced the plague, then there was and is not today. besides bad.
