In my Facebook bubble, the movie “Don’t Look Up” is mandatory reading. Similarly, it should look like a blog commentator bubble – I invitation you to express your opinion.

My friends are highly divided in opinions. Everyone agrees with the overall message of the movie (if individual disagreed, I would get fat), but any of them hurt his pushy teaching.

Indeed, there are no nuances. The message is given on a tray, without any “yes but”.

On the another hand, what are the nuances here? This message is even expressed in the song from the film, duet Ariana Grande & kid Cudi: “get your head out of your ass / perceive to the goddamn qualified scientists (...) 'Case you’re about to die shortly everyone”.

It would be comic if it sounded on the crowded densflora of 1 of the upcoming events in the series "Sylwester with Omicron". „And you can act like everything is right /
But this is provenly happening in real time".

I think for my disgruntled friends it was just the first contact with Adam McKay's jokes. Those who did not like "Don't Look Up" are usually those who are excited about the fresh translation of "Ulysses" or watch the five-hour movie Paolo Sorrentino "Drinking in a provincial Italian church in the 1960s".

I was delighted years ago with the movie "Big Short", in which celebrated people besides expressed a public message about the financial crisis in the function of themselves or parody of themselves, including the unforgettable "Margot Robbie in the bath to attract attention". The star cast “Don’t Look Up” actually does the same.

I only have 2 critical remarks. The overwhelming evaluation of the media here is very entertaining, but nevertheless exaggerated.
In the movie we have 2 editorials shown close up. It is simply a paper "New York Herald", a parody of "New York Times", and generic breakfast television.

I can't justice the accuracy of this second parody due to the fact that I've never worked or watched it in a place like this. The paper that works in the subscription model is shown here as a typical portal, and this already raises my objection.

I like pessimistic sarcasm, so I sometimes throw texts of the kind "what difference, clickability or subscriptionability". But the difference surely is.

I'll usage my own example. I've had any clickable texts recently, even the P.T.s. have noticed.

At the same time, the text which was highest rated by subscription parameters (this combination of “how many people bought a subscription to read” and “how many subscribers read) was long superstring essay based on Michio Kaku's book. Which, by the way, I recommend.

So the media is not good, but it is not as bad as this movie suggests. In the real world, heroes would find a psychic who would take the subject seriously.

Secondly, the message of the movie concerns 2020. Meryl Streep and Jonah Hill parody Trump and Trump Friday. They're doing great, but present America is ruled by individual else.

While laughing (through tears) at those affairs, we do not announcement that today, for example, Trump alienates his erstwhile followers, speaking about the effectiveness of vaccines. The right hand in Poland has akin problems today.

Anti-vaccinationists may not be on the left, but they're in the Anti-script. So we have a fresh split. It is no longer so simple that the left speaks the language of discipline and the right language of Alex Jones.

This fresh division brings fresh challenges and fresh comic situations. Trump whistled by his followers! Kaczyński, who abruptly calms down and does not want unnecessary restrictions!

I would laughter about it, not the 2020 challenges. These have already been ridiculed by the Death to 2020 Network Paraffic. A year ago, a different era.

PS. Anti-vaccinating comments are as usual welcome, but on the basis of a cultural question and humble acceptance of the answer from people more colossal. Comments referring to the videos on the jutub will be cut out without being right.
