According to the latest IBRiS poll for Onetu, in the spring of 2025 the leader of trust among Polish politicians is Rafał Trzaskowski. In turn, Grzegorz Braun remains not only at the end of the stake but besides creates the top distrust among respondents.
The poll results show how much the political scene in Poland is polarized — and who gains and who loses in the eyes of voters.
President of Warsaw and candidate of the Civic Coalition for president of the Republic of Poland, Rafał Trzaskowski, can talk about a good start to the campaign. 46% of those surveyed present trust him — an increase of 2.5 percent points compared to February. This consequence gives him a clear lead in the ranking of trust. Trzaskowski has long been building his image as a moderate, European and "anti-PiS" policy, which seems to work in his favour, especially among centre and younger voters.
The unexpected change brought second place in the ranking – Mateusz Morawiecki, erstwhile Prime Minister, minimally overtaken president Andrzej Duda. Morawiecki trusts 36.1% of respondents, Duda — 36%. Although the difference is small, it is symbolic due to the fact that it shows that Duda loses the position he held among voters for years. However, both politicians have equally advanced rates of distrust — as many as 55.6% of those surveyed do not trust them.
Donald Tusk and Szymon Hołownia evidence results akin to the average. Tusk trusts 35.2% of the surveyed, but his score dropped slightly. The farm with 32.6% ranks just behind Jarosław Kaczyński, who scored a slight increase and advanced by 1 mesh. Still, however, it is politicians who origin mixed emotions — support for them is far from stable.
Grzegorz Braun was at the end of the ranking not only in terms of trust, but besides as a politician whom Poles do not trust most. As many as 64.9% of the respondents expressed a deficiency of assurance in the Confederate Member. Not much better did his erstwhile partymate Sławomir Mentzen (57.6% mistrust). The 3rd is Jarosław Kaczyński with 56.7 % mistrust. We will find Andrzej Duda with 55.6% and Karol Nawrocki with the same result.
The survey shows a clear division of the political scene. Trzaskowski wins among the liberal-central electorate, Morawiecki continues to stick among right-wing voters, and Braun and Mentzen stay niches — more recognizable due to controversy than circumstantial program proposals.
It is besides worth noting that the advanced level of distrust towards many leaders (e.g. more than half of respondents do not trust Duda, Kaczyński or Nawrock) shows general fatigue of politics and deficiency of religion in the authenticity of actions of many representatives of power.
The survey was carried out by CATI on a example of 1,100 people from 21 to 22 March.
