The May poll of the Center for the investigation of Social Opinion shows that the government of Donald Tusk loses the trust of Poles. Only 32% of respondents now declare their support for the government – this is simply a 2 percent points decrease compared to April. As many as 44% of respondents express a negative attitude to power (an increase of 4 points) and 20% admit that it remains indifferent to power.

The assessment of the government's performance is not optimistic either. Only 35 percent of respondents are affirmative and 52 percent are negative. Both values dropped by 2 points compared to the erstwhile month. Invariably 13 percent of respondents have no opinion.

On the question of whether the policy of the current government gives hope to improve the economical situation, 37% answered yes (an increase of 1 point). The other opinion was 52% (down 1 point) and 11 percent could not give a clear answer.

It is equally worrying for Prime Minister Tusk to see data concerning him. The satisfaction of his government was expressed by 35% of respondents (decreased by 2 points) and as much as 53% are dissatisfied with him (increase by 2 points). 12 percent of respondents have no opinion on this.

The survey was conducted by CBOS between 5 and 14 May 2025 on a typical example of 1080 adult Poles. 3 methods were used: CAPI (64.4%), CATI (23.7%) and CAWI (11.9%).

These results clearly show that social patience with the government and Prime Minister Tusk himself is clearly shrinking.
