Sad news. Our colleague Łukasz Bardłowski died

We regret to inform you that our colleague, Łukasz Bardłowski, died. His life was closely related to the past of Poland, promoting fact and patriotism. He has engaged in many historical, social and cultural initiatives in Podlasie and all over Poland. He was a man of word and responsibility. During the ZTG “Sokol” Council gathering in Zgierz, it was planned that it would take up a function on the Management Board. He left unexpectedly, aged 38.

I have very sad news – our colleague left, to whom the ideals of Polish patriotism were very close. Łukasz Bardłowski was born on 26 April 1987 in Szczuczyń, in the household of Joseph and Dorota. He was the brother of Ursula, John and Magdalene. He began his studies in 1994 at the School of Primary No. 32 of Major Henryk Dobrzański "Hubal" in Białystok, followed by Public Secondary School No. 12 and the electrical Schools squad (telecommunication technology). In 2008, he began his studies at the University of Białystok, which he graduated with a master's degree in 2013. Historical fact and patriotism were the meaning of his life.

Already in junior advanced he helped his father in a household business, learning work and conscientiousness. He was a versatile athlete. inactive at advanced School, he initiated unihokei trainings that turned into a squad winning advanced places in the country.

The actual passion of life became rugby. Since 2003, as a student, he has co-founded the Podlaskie rugby environment, from the first trainings, through UKS “Elektryk” and “Bartłowiszna”, to the authoritative Rugby Białystok (2014) and the second league launches. For more than 20 years, he was a player, coach, activist and, as fellows point out, “heart, drive and conscience” of Podlasie rugby. Without it, this environment would most likely never have existed.

As of 2012, related to IPN Bialystok, first as an intern-archist, then an inspector at the Mirror Office. He participated in polling and exhumation works. He was active in the Football Union (Szszczuczyn and Zaścianki/Bialystok), and was a associate of the TVP Białystok Programme Council from 2017 to 2020.

Since the beginning of the independency March defender (named ‘Beton’) has belonged to its elder management, first as a platoon commander, later as a board member. He secured the March of Independence, marches of memory of the Cursed Soldiers and Warsaw Insurgents, organized the defence of churches in 2020 and celebration of Bloody Sunday in Domastawa.

In 2017, he joined the 1st Podlasie Territorial Defence Brigade (11 blp), where he reached the rank of elder radio telephone operator. Many times distinguished for exemplary service and overriding commitment. He has worked for the National wellness Fund for fresh years, where he was valued for his peculiar commitment to wellness prevention and work with people.

In late 2024 he assisted our foundation Magna Polonia in organizing the First Postwar judaic Conference. He was 1 of the persons protecting the event from possible provocations of the left-Shabesgoan side.

Łukasz Bardłowski was a man of word, work and large patriotism. He left a lasting way in sport, history, defence and memory of Poland. His memory was celebrated with a minute of silence at the beginning of the nationwide ZTG “Sokół” gathering in Poland on 7 December 2025 in Zgierz. The last goodbyes will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025 at 12.30 p.m. at St.M. Kolbe's Church.
