SINGAPORE- Singapore Airlines (SQ) will revise its KrisFlyer award charts from 1 November 2025. The adjustments come three years after the last devaluation in July 2022 and introduce both modest increases and a few reductions in award pricing.
Members flying from Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) can still book at current rates until 31 October 2025, securing travel up to 355 days in advance. This provides a final window to lock in existing award levels before the revised charts take effect.

Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Awards
The changes affect Saver and Advantage awards across all cabins and regions, with variations depending on zone, MileLion reported.
Saver Award Pricing
- First and Business Class: Increases by 4–6% for Asia and South Pacific (Zones 1–9), 5% for Europe and the USA (Zones 11–13), and up to 20% for Africa, the Middle East, and Turkey (Zone 10).
- Economy Class: Decreases by 4–6% within Asia and the South Pacific, but increases by 5% for Europe and the USA, and 10% for Africa, the Middle East, and Turkey.
Advantage Award Pricing
- First and Business Class: Rises 15–16% across Asia and the South Pacific, and 15% for Europe and the USA. Zone 10 increases are sharper at up to 18%.
- Economy Class: Increases range between 9–13%, except Zone 10, where the rise is limited to 5%.
Introduction of Access Awards
From November, KrisFlyer will add a third redemption type called Access. These awards will be dynamically priced, offering members additional confirmed seat options beyond Saver and Advantage inventory.
While exact mileage requirements remain unclear, Access introduces flexible availability without removing existing award buckets.

Booking Window and Transition Rules
- Tickets issued on or before 31 October 2025 follow current pricing, regardless of travel date.
- Waitlists not ticketed by 1 November 2025 will be charged under new rates.
- Date changes after the devaluation will not trigger re-pricing, but changes involving routes, cabins, or award types will.
- Award tickets remain valid for 365 days, allowing certain bookings made on 31 October 2025 to be extended up to 31 October 2026.
Historical Context
Since its launch in 1999, KrisFlyer has undergone several devaluations. The pattern in recent years has shifted from once every 4–5 years to roughly every 3.5 years, reflecting the growing membership base and increased miles in circulation.
Compared to other airline programmes where hikes reach 30–50%, the 2025 revision is modest, with most Saver increases capped at 5% and Advantage at 10–15%.

What Members Should Do
KrisFlyer members are advised to:
- Book desired awards before 31 October 2025 to secure current pricing.
- Consider Zone 10 routes (Africa, the Middle East, and Turkey), which see the steepest hikes.
- Monitor Access award pricing and availability once launched, as it may provide added flexibility.
The overall picture shows manageable increases, with some redemptions—especially Economy within Asia—becoming cheaper. However, the loss of sweet spots such as Zone 10 long-haul Business Class awards will be felt by frequent travelers.
