Radosław Sikorski arrived in Kiev on Friday 11 September with an unannounced visit, which will last until 13 September. A fewer hours earlier, the Russian attack killed 2 people in the capital and injured eight. The Polish MFA calls it a motion of support for Ukraine. For Poland, it is simply a signal that the war inactive straight affects the safety of the region.
Polish Minister came after the night attack
Radosław Sikorski informed about the arrival with a short entry post post post inserted after a welcome to the Kiev station. The call program was not immediately released. The Ministry of abroad Affairs, on the another hand, announced that the stay of the head of Polish diplomacy would last until Sunday 13 September.
MFA spokesperson Maciej Wewiór told the Polish Press Agency that the visit was an expression of support for the fighting Ukraine. The hotel justifies this motion by intensifying Russian strokes. This position corresponds to the earlier statements of the minister who warned against Russian safety policy.
Two victims and 8 injured.
The visit began only a fewer hours after another attack on Kiev. In the morning, a red air alarm related to the rocket threat was announced in the city. According to the Kiev Military Administration, 2 fuel stations and a multi-story residential building were damaged.
Two people died in the Bologna area. Mer Kiev Vitali Klickko reported 8 injured after hitting the tower. 2 people went to the hospital, and 1 was identified as serious. This data was preliminary. In the face of victims and their families, seriousness and respect are needed, without turning human suffering into political props.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported that Russia utilized 161 unmanned types at night. By Ukrainian Aviation Communication Air defence shot down or overpowered 138 of them. Earlier Russian raids on Ukrainian capital also launched Polish aviation and defence systems.
Support must service the safety of Poland
Russia is liable for the aggression and death of civilians. Poland has a vital interest in keeping Russian military force as far distant from our borders as possible. The presence of the Polish minister in Kiev is so a signal that Warsaw does not recognise air panic as an effective tool to push Poland out of regional policy.
However, this motion does not exempt the government from the work to clearly state the intent of the talks, commitments made and costs incurred by the Republic. Helping Ukraine makes sense erstwhile it strengthens Polish safety and is conducted with respect for our sovereignty, economical interests and historical truth. Solidarity doesn't mean giving up your own state.
After the visit, the Ministry of abroad Affairs should inform Poles about the findings made in Kiev. Diplomacy conducted in the shadow of a Russian attack requires courage, but besides accountability. The final measurement of its effectiveness remains the safety of Polish citizens.
