Jurassic limestone like Italian marble
From the geography lesson in primary school, we know that Jura Krakowsko-Częstochowska was created in the Mesozoic era, during the Jurassic period, from limestone settlements. The areas we walk present were at the bottom of the Jurassic sea. The rocks here were formed from mud, animal skeletons, limestone shells and microorganisms. This material was utilized to build houses, fences, and even locks. This is what the full Orlich Nest way is made of.
One specified place where beautiful white limestone, specifically light limestone, was found close the village of Siedlce in the municipality of Janów in the territory of Częstochowa.
