Confederate press Confederation with the participation of Michał Waver and Krzysztof Rzoniec, 29 July 2024.
A well-known writer and commentator Przemysław Babiarz commented on the beginning of the Paris Olympics. He referred to John Lennon's playable song "The planet Without Heaven, Nations, and Religion. This is simply a imagination of peace that's expected to take over everyone. This is simply a imagination of communism, unfortunately." For these words he was suspended in the Polish tv and was banned from commenting on the games. The Confederate spoke on this matter. Michał Wawer and Krzysztof Rzoniec spoke on her behalf at a press conference in the Sejm.
Michał Wawer compared the words of Przemysław Babiarz to words of John Lennon, who himself described his song as a communist manifesto. Wawer stressed that Babiarz commented on reality based on facts, so TVP's decision to suspend Babiarz rated it hysterical. This shows, according to the Confederate Member, that there is no place in the current TVP for fact and people who have their own opinions. Wawer pointed out that Babar's case was evidence of another unfulfilled promise by Donald Tusk from the run period, which announced the depoliticization and deterrence of TVP.
Krzysztof Rzońca considered the situation to be scandalous and stressed that the issue of Babiarz's suspension became loud in the world. He pointed out that the current TVP continues the policy of PiS times, utilizing the same methods as the government at the time. He pointed out the double standards that KO politicians have towards TVP – erstwhile they took power they abandoned all the demands they had made during the run and utilized public media to impose their own message. He recalled that the Confederate demanded the abolition of the radio-television subscription and TVP Info.
The Confederacy calls for the resignation of the politicized TVP authorities. There is no agreement to double standards and imposing government transmission.
