Przyborska: intellectual razor

krytykapolityczna.pl 1 year ago

– Mr Zdoba, we are talking about sport, but this is not a razor, don't forget yourself," said Field Marshal Holovnia, erstwhile PiS MPs, already warmed up with buzzing, rechoting and shouting, began to interrupt Donald Tusk's exposé.

Not anymore. due to the fact that it was yesterday, and in the Sejm there is inactive a fascination with veiny customs. Half the area is pleased erstwhile Members do not comply with the appointed time of speech, and all minute individual on the right side tries to climb on the platform without any mode and vent their emotions.

– We will be able to repair the harm from next day so that everyone can feel at home in Poland without exception," said Prime Minister Donald Tusk on Monday evening. The parliament sang after Tusk's speech an anthem. Jarosław Kaczyński did not sing, but a minute later he entered the platform. "I know 1 thing – you are a German agent," he said.

Fulfilled fantasy of dirty politics

The razor is the name of this place at the Legia Warszawa Stadium, where the kiboles sit: fanatical, aggressive, compulsively combining private frustrations with hatred for the squad not even opponents, but enemies. They do not conflict to face their own views with reality. They presume that the planet is as they see it and respond appropriately. From the "Grylet" fly race, names, threats of those whose grandstand defines identity. They make the “Grylet” – without them it would not be, but it besides creates them.

A razor – not only due to the fact that it is sharp, but besides due to the fact that it is thin, just a margin of margins. And as such, it poses no threat to public life. Worse if he has his representation in the Sejm, and worse erstwhile he takes over.

We have experienced this for the last 8 years, erstwhile people came to power, with the worst ideas about politics, shared in addition by a large part of society. Politics has been portrayed over the years as dirty, full of systems of various groups. It was clear from the premise that if individual wanted to go to politics, they must have thick skin, due to the fact that specified a policy is: ruthless and oriented to extract private profits from their public offices.

What was at the margin of erstwhile governments became the norm of the Law and Justice. Only that the majority of citizens were convinced that this was actually the real image of politics, and if it wasn't so ostentatious before, it was just due to the fact that politicians didn't admit it, there was collusion inside the political class, any appearances, a facade from which you couldn't see the reign inside hell.

That is why any of the citizens were moving distant from politics, denying themselves political influence, trying to keep "pure" apoliticalism. And any became more and more cynical – as Sławomir Sierakowski and Przemysław Sadura called it – dealing with reality, trying to fight their own in it.

It is these shared ideas of politics that have besides resulted in a complete deficiency of shame for the Members of the Law and Justice, to the last days of their governments pushing their pockets and their friends, driving like a waltz by institutions, responding to questions of principle. Yeah? Were there rules around here? Most rule, that's all.

We'll get what we deserve.

In the end, however, it turned out that the fantasy of dirty politics that the Law and Justice showed us proved unbearable. Over eleven million Poles and Poles voted against.

By the way, what any of the environments, including Political Criticism, have been striving for for for a long time – that is, abandoning the dream of immaculate apoliticalism for the sake of sleeve removal and inclusion in policy-making so that it is as close as possible to standards that do not endanger the system, social order, safety of people and the state itself. Monday, very Boring Exposé Mateusz Morawiecki, swans singing the outgoing two-week government, and then much more lively elections of the fresh Prime Minister watched over 4 million viewers.

Donald Tusk in his exposé cited the latest results of the CBOS survey (so far gracious to PiS politicians investigation studio). They say that after the 15 October elections, the most people in the past of studio research, that is, since 1992, have a sense of citizenship, feeling the impact on the state's fate. That is 54% of citizens and citizens. Twice as much as in February 2020, erstwhile this feeling declared only 26 percent.

I hope we don't let this influence get distant with us. Donald Tusk declared that all period he would be in any place in Poland at an open gathering and no substance whether 5 or 5000 people would come to it, he would study on the actions of the government. He announced the fresh Ministry of civilian Society, whose Minister is to be Agnieszka Buczyńska, and the Ministry of Equality, with Minister Katarzyna Kotula at the head – they are to guarantee universal access to public and political life, be in contact with civilian society and grow its circles.

Are I waiting for miracles? Nope. I'm afraid I'll be ashamed again. I am most afraid about the proposed migration policy, based mainly on sealing borders. Donald Tusk announced that he took almost individual work for shaping the policy of defending Europe's borders against illegal migration. However, he did not appoint a Minister for Migration. I was counting on it. At the moment, it looks like we are going to be building grids, walls - which, of course, is besides a materialization of our ideas about the "Migrant waves" that are expected to "recommend" us. In the meantime, no investigation indicates that. The walls we are already putting up first appeared in our bright European heads.

So I'm not waiting for miracles. This point of the policy that has been announced concerns me very much. But the others are filled with hope. For example, a firm stand on the side of Ukraine, and not from a sad position, offended by everyone and with all the conflicted lands, but from Poland as a serious partner, an active member, an EU motor, liable in NATO, cooperating with Estonia, Finland, Lithuania and Sweden. This could be a real change, giving hope to Ukraine and Poland.

To this should be added the announced transparency or increases for the budget. Poland as a “model example of how to reconcile welfare state policy with financial responsibility” – this gives hope for a lasting change in political patterns.

Of course, there are inactive Meyza, Matecki and the full gallery of akin ones in the parliamentary benches. They'll whistle, they'll tap, they'll simmer.

However, I have any hopes about Simon Holovnia. If gradually, utilizing advanced ratings, civilize the right and then become the right-wing president, the intellectual “Grylet” will begin to shrink. besides in seismic benches, leaving more and more space for progressive groups.
