In the erstwhile post on tickets, I left out a very crucial thing.
I mean, the movie, or possibly two, possibly it was the same case, I don't remember, from any program showing police work. That was years ago, and I'm going to describe the situation from memory, so there's a chance that something might be inaccurate.
They catch a guy, and he acts like a typical "Janusz" and despite the camera, he talks to a cop and the speech of an excited simpleton asks a policeman if he saw - or appreciated it - how cleverly he maneuvered on the road.
Typical "Janush"? Suspect...
And the second thing - but possibly it was the same situation, due to the fact that I saw this documentary show by accident, I never watched it.
The police are following any driver who's breaking regulations - ahead on a double continuous, driving at excessive speed, blinking or honking, something.
So he breaks the rules, beats the crap out of him, and so on, and they movie him.
They follow him and movie him.
Only after a long time - they turn on signals and stop.
I think he broke six laws, if I remember correctly.
Everyone we watched was outraged, why didn't they halt specified a road pirate after the first violation?
Why they were patiently following him, allowing him to do all this, to bring danger on the road and patiently following him - and it was all filming and they knew it was filming and it was actually on TV.
What's going on?
The police should have stopped him after first crossing traffic regulations, and they didn't. It's like they're trying to sale him a bigger ticket. The cost of someone's wellness or life? After all, for a fewer minutes longer they allowed him to make a danger on the road - he truly hard I'm sorry. He did.
How did they know that nothing would happen, that there would be no accident?
They followed him calmly.
What is it?
Why did they do that?
Why specified a thing was shown in TV, and
How come they had a case like this on their hands?
Police are expected to be in charge of security, not from: simply putting in tickets, Driver hunting, sensations on TV, or from showing Poles "typical janushes".
"Look! That's what you beets are like..."
This show would should be watched.

No more harassing legitimate motorists meetings. Police cross the line of absurdity and law

In fresh months, the media has been reporting on "illegal gold" and "street races" which supposedly scare the streets and streets of Polish cities. Always in specified a speech – with a note of horror, moralizing and mandatory quote from a police spokesman. And then the pictures: police cars, parking tickets, sometimes tow trucks. Only that reality can be completely different – much more mundane, and at the same time much more disturbing.
There is no ban on gathering people in the parking lot in Poland. There is no ban on talking, watching cars, commenting on wheels or engine work. There is besides no ban on driving your own legally registered vehicle on the streets – even if individual does not like that this vehicle is louder, more sportsy or just different.

Brands close Warsaw – police enter a gathering that they do not understand
Last night in Marks, in the parking lot of 1 of the supermarkets, a specified gathering of respective automotive enthusiasts took place.
No racing, no drifts, no noise, no alcohol. A twelve cars, a twelve people, conversations, photos, shared passion. That's it.
And then, suddenly, a patrol arrives. A police car with lights on. Cops don't get off, they don't take action. They just are. And it makes sense that something's going on here. And there was absolutely nothing going on.
Who's breaking the law?
Contrary to appearances, it's not about triviality. due to the fact that specified action – a display of flashes, an effort to intimidate, the presence of "preventive" – can be considered illegal usage of privileged signals and exceeding the powers. A police officer is obliged to intervene only if he sees an offence or a crime. He can't usage power to manifest force where nothing bad happens.
It's not just absurd. It is simply a clear waste of public money and a sick tendency to recognise young people and their passion as something suspicious, requiring supervision, preferably with a lock, mandate or minimum – tense blue light.
Preventive mandates – absurd chases absurd
It has long been known that any police units have applied an informal practice of issuing "for statistics" mandates. Are you young, have you got a car and a night off? You're a possible criminal in the eyes of the system.
And the police should be the guardian of the law, not his interpreter depending on the humor or the agenda of the fines, right?
Passion is not a crime. Get distant from people.
Motorization is simply a passion – precisely the same as photography, fishing or cycling. but for any reason, he was being treated suspiciously. Why? due to the fact that the car is loud? due to the fact that the kid's behind the wheel? due to the fact that the group is standing in 1 place talking?
That's enough. We call for reassurance – and the police, and local authorities. car meetings aren't a problem. The problem is their unwarranted momentum. The problem is the impunity of those who are to act according to the letter of the law, but increasingly act according to their own vision.
The final question? Where are these officers' superiors? And who'll settle them? due to the fact that if no 1 – this means that in Poland you can not only meet people who share your passion. But that you can't trust those who are expected to defend you.
An organization should be established in Poland to defend drivers against specified activities.
