“My Water” backing – who can benefit?
The “My Water” programme is aimed at natural persons who own, co-owners or perpetual users of the property on which the single-family residential building is located. This besides applies to the properties on which the construction is planned or the construction of a single-family housing building has begun, provided that these buildings are put into service in accordance with the law prior to the submission of the papers for payment.
The only exclusion is the properties that have already received backing under the erstwhile editions of My Water.
What investments can be financed from My Water?
The backing includes a number of investments related to the collection, retention and retention of rainwater and melting water. Here is simply a list of eligible actions:
- Purchase, supply, assembly, construction, extension and commissioning of rainwater or melting water collection installations from impermeable surfaces specified as roofs, pavements and driveways.
- Storage of rainwaters in tanks with a minimum capacity of 2 ml.
- Retention of rainwater in the ground through installations specified as absorbent wells, drainage, or open tanks.
- Creating ‘green roofs’ equipped with drainage layer.
- Use of regenerated rainwaters or meltwaters utilizing pumps, filters, sprinklers or water distribution systems.
How to apply for funding?
In order to receive funding, an application should be submitted to the provincial environment and water management fund, including papers confirming expenditure (e.g. acquisition invoices) and the execution of the installation (execution protocol or self-execution declaration).
It is worth remembering that the minimum eligible investment amount is PLN 2 thousand. The aid shall be granted to persons who complete the investment by 30 June 2024 at the latest.
