Most Americans said they would not support either side in the conflict between US president Donald Trump and entrepreneur Elon Musk — according to the YouGov poll.
According to the survey, 52 percent of respondents said they would not support either party. On the Trump side, 28 percent of the respondents would be on the Trump side and only 8 percent on the Musk side. Another 11 percent were indecisive.
The percent of Republican organization supporters who declared support for Trump was 71% and Muska was 6%. Among the Democratic organization supporters, only 4% advocated the White home chief and 11% advocated Musk. That they would not support Trump or Musk, said 80% of Democrats and 12% of Republican supporters.
The poll was conducted on June 6 among 3,812 adult Americans. No statistical mistake margin for the survey was given.
On Thursday, Musk and Trump had a public dispute over the US President's proposed national spending cut bill, which Musk called "an abomination." The entrepreneur besides called for the “killing of the bill”. Trump replied that he was disappointed with Musk due to the fact that “he did a lot for him.” Musk then stated that it was thanks to him that Trump became president, and Republicans took control of both chambers of Congress.
