Therefore, it was impossible to pass indifferently alongside the initiative of the Polish Left Movement and the Polish Anti-War Movement, in order to pass through the streets of Warsaw on 1 May in the ranks of the anti-war march. In the context of the death of public debate within the strategy and mainstream, censorship and political correctness, it is the countersystem that has the chance to become an area of genuine dialog and real democracy.
Animosity After
Some have pointed to various, not entirely explained moments in the biography of another participants in the protest. There was a rhetoric like “I would go to this march if there were no Kowalski or Iksiński”. However, the presence on the origin should not be based on an assessment of 1 or another form, environment or organization. There is only 1 criterion: whether you are against war or against it – like the present strategy – you support it. If she were to participate in the march as a consequence of any wonderful metamorphosis, she would call for “Gazeta Wyborcza” or “Gazeta Polska”, TVP or TVN – we should besides go to that march. Even if their metamorphosis was temporary and cyclical. The 1st May protest took place in the name of a circumstantial (as we have already established, the most important) issue, not in the name of political capital of any environment or person.
Personally, I was besides there to just meet personally with Poles who have already opened their eyes, who are somewhere in orbit of the countersystem. I don't like public gatherings, but it's besides crucial to stay home.
