PiS prepares today, January 11th, March of Free Poles. The demonstration is scheduled to begin under the Parliament building at 16. By Decision of Simon Holown no earlier gathering will be held for this day.

Initially, the march was to be mainly a protest Law and Justice Against Changes in Public Media, but after stopping on Tuesday evening, Mariusz Kamiński and Maciej Wąsik will surely besides warm up this subject to demonstrators.

Mobilization continues due to the fact that ambition is big. After success pre-election marches organized by the Civic Coalition, then opposition, today's opposition dreams of a large event to mobilize its supporters and supporters. Will it work?

How many people make the crowd?

There is no indication that the march on January 11th could bring hundreds of thousands of people to Warsaw. The question raised above is not whether the PiS will win in repeating the success of Tusk's turnout marches, but whether the parties will win in mobilising their own. It's a large difference, due to the fact that to mobilize the Law and Justice, 1 million “free Poles” do not need. A 100 1000 is enough.

The march will definitely cover the media. These free media will show you how it was. But after the failure of TVP, PiS can number on pro-script media specified as e.g. Television Republic. Recently, people who had previously worked on TVP go there. These are the people who formed a squad that showed respective 100 1000 manifestations so that they looked like mediocre demonstrations for respective 100 people. Now, the reverse challenge is facing the propisian media teams – respective dozen, possibly a 100 1000 people show them to look like a million.

An efficient operator and a good editor can handle the fact that even a not very awesome demonstration is shown as a large protest. And this is what the Law and Justice needs – pictures. Photographs of the protest will circulate on social media, become promotional material of old power.

When is the demo successful?

President Jarosław Kaczyński argued a fewer days ago that it would be a “manifest in defence of freedom of speech, freedom of the media and democracy. due to the fact that democracy is simply a large problem today." Kaczyński, without blinking an eye, speaks high-profile sentences about freedom and democracy, due to the fact that what should he say? That he's invited to march in defence of the TVP millionaires who lost lucrative jobs?

In his Wednesday speech, Andrzej Duda mentioned changes in public media, but he devoted most of his speech to Wąsik and Kamiński. Duda, like Kaczyński, tells not what it is, but how to talk about it in the propisian environments and the media supporting them.

The president lied erstwhile in his Wednesday speech he suggested that Wąsik and Kamiński were fighting corruption. On the contrary, gentlemen did not fight the corruption that existed, but tried to make corruption. They've been charged with overriding and falsifying documents.

President Duda besides lied, saying that in 2015 he decided to "acquit" Kamiński and Wąsik. The president has no power to exonerate the guilty, he can pardon the convicted. Duda either has no thought about it, or she's perfidiously misleading us all.

Duda said he was “deeply shaken up” and there is no uncertainty that Mr. Wąsik and Kamiński are crystal honest. Clearly, the PiS goes into the communicative not only of the "attack on media freedom", but besides of building the story of "political prisoners". And in general, against Tusk and his government.

Radio Zet in emotionless and judgmental information about the march already in the first conviction shows this clearly, writing: "The protest of Free Poles is simply a manifestation organized by the community of Law and Justice against the regulation of a democratic coalition".

The march organized by the PiS Thursday is to be the foundation for building and strengthening fresh political myths. The last pre-March days are utilized to souffle them and to mobilise them.

On the occasion of this mobilisation, we besides hear clearly how part of the PiS environment reads the message of the march.

"Glos of Wielkopolska" He quotes Bartłomiej Wróblewski, MP of the Law and Justice of Poznań, who says that "The interest in leaving and expressing opposition to what the government of Donald Tusk is doing is great". So it's Tusk. He adds: “I don’t remember specified a situation since 2011 that so many people want to go to any demonstration in Warsaw. Those who are longer in politics say that this has not been the case before."

One He reports that the territory councillor and the head of the PSL council club Andrzej Maj says that “From the employees of the territory Starost in Kraśnik and its subordinates I have received information that their superiors associated with the Law and Justice Office are to issue work orders for the journey to Warsaw on 11 January. People don't want to go, but they're forced. There's terrible force in the office. I was asked to intervene."

Andrzej Duda called for peace on Wednesday, and at the same time reminded that “it is slow to gather in Poland” and participate in manifestations. I don't think I would have expected peace after specified an appeal for peace. The Law and Justice needs excitement, needs fresh myths as political fuel. If the request truly is the parent of inventions, then the Law and Justice is inventing fresh political narratives and creating fresh political heroes.
