“First I will protest against specified a bandit” – Nawrocks against attempts to undermine election results

During the 20th legislature of “Gazeta Polskiej” Clubs in Sulejów, President-elect Karol Nawrocki powerfully referred to worrying signals about possible attempts to undermine the result of fresh presidential elections.

In his speech, he assured himself that he would not back down from any form of pressure, and, if necessary, would stand in the first row of protesters.

“If anyone wants to destruct Polish democracy and take distant this victory, you will be the first to see me protest against specified a bandit”

“Nawrocki stressed that the triumph over the polls and media projections became a triumph for civilian society.

According to the President-elect, the coming weeks and months are time not only to celebrate success but besides to face possible procedural challenges. He recalled that the ultimate Court had until 2 July to declare the validity of the election and that many electoral protests were inactive coming – their number could scope as many as 50 000.

First steps at the Presidential Palace

Karol Nawrocki besides betrayed plans that he would implement immediately after taking office on August 6. As he assured, he does not intend to deviate from the commitments made during the campaign:

“I will be consistent. I told the full election run what I would do first, and that's precisely what I'll do. We did not make the ‘Program 21’ to retreat from our demands erstwhile I became President, it was not the candidate”

He besides replied unequivocally to the question of concrete actions:

“I intend not to change and reconstruct in Polish politics and all Poles the awareness that politicians can carry out their promises, plans and programs. My first decision will be to awaken our dreams, our aspirations, our ambitions. I will submit a bill signed by 200 000 citizens on the first Central Port of Communication, due to the fact that we are an ambitious nation.”

– announced, declaring that the CPK would be as crucial to him as the regulation of law, safety or taxation contract.

Other plans by President-elect included restoring the full regulation of law in Poland and implementing the promised “tax contract”. Karol Nawrocki promised that for the next 5 years his presidency would consistently repeat:

“First Poland, first – Poles”

– recalling that the function of the head of state is primarily the concern for citizens and Polish interests.
