Today, from 12:00 to 13:40 in Katowice, the first information picket was held as part of the #AkcjaEvacuationZeu campaign. The convention participants showed a banner presenting Euro MP Luke Kohut and informed the public about his vote on the amendments to the European Treaties of 22 November 2023.
One of the consequences of the vote by Mr Kohut may be the elimination of the rule of unanimity, which will enable us to change the key acts for our lives without the anticipation of vetoing them. It is adequate that the coalition of Germany, France and respective smaller countries associated with them will vote on the EU legal project, e.g. on the education of our children, and the Polish government will gotta amend the state government in accordance with the EU government passed. Is the right to self-determination of our nation for which our soldiers fought and died inactive crucial to Euro MP Luke Kohut? Or was it never? Through his irresponsible decision, the legislative process linked to the revision of the Treaties has moved forward.
Only 9 MEPs from Poland voted in favour of these solutions, it is worth remembering the disgraced names of people who take distant our rights: Marek Belka, Leszek Miller, Marek Balt, Włodzimierz Cimoszewicz, Bogusław Liberadzki, Sylwia Spurek, Robert Biedron, Róża Thun und Hohenstein and Łukasz Kohut.
Many executioners approached to assure us of their support. The assembly turned out to be very quiet, and a large part of the passing people stood and read the content of the banner, were then asked – what is the vote? After the volunteers provided information, in principle, no 1 expressed approval for the Euro MP from Rybnik. After the explanations, nodding, appreciation, and thanks for our service were most common. 1 of the ladies did not hide the outrage erstwhile she learned that as many as 9 Poles voted to proceed the legislative process over shameful changes. Interestingly, it was possible to talk calmly and culturally with Poles from various political backgrounds. You can see that this subject connects alternatively than divides Poles.
