Last week, together with Krzysztof Bosak, Michał Wawer and Krzysztof Mulawa, we had another gathering with parents who are suffering from parental alienation. An highly destructive phenomenon not only for a separated parent but besides for children whose parents divorced.

One parent, most frequently a father, loses the anticipation of having a relation with his kid and participating in his life by unjust and unpunished blocking him by a erstwhile spouse. These losses are very hard (if possible) to make up for.
In Poland, almost half of marriages are falling apart, so the drama of parental alienation can affect almost 1/3 of Polish families. Thank you for gathering and trusting representatives of, among others, the Association of Our Children Together Against Alienation in the household and the Association for Equality of Parental Rights. The Confederation is working to propose amendments to the existing legislation, with the hope that they will let for a first step of change to improve.
