President Ordo Iuris: The Censorship Act in the Sejm! First reading today

Lawyers of Ordo Iuris have been watching closely from the very beginning and commenting on the government's draft law on "Speak of Hate". As shortly as the bill was published, We published his analysis and we addressed a formal opinion to the government, in which we pointed out that due to many shortcomings and reconciliation of the very foundations of freedom, the task should be rejected at first reading.

The task represents a major threat to constitutionally guaranteed freedom of speech, which is to be dedicated in the interests of the LGBT lobby. Furthermore, it destabilizes the concept of sex to be understood in the spirit of the sex Convention of Istanbul. As a result, the criticism of allowing men with sex identity disorders to compete in sports with women or to usage women's toilets can be regarded as a “talk of hatred” due to the “sex”. Moreover, the bill, contrary to the declarations, leads to systemic discrimination against non-LGBT citizens.

Freedom of speech is the basis of all civilian rights and freedoms. If we lose her, we can't be certain of any of the remaining freedoms.
