Degrads the full text of Viktor Orbán beginning the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Budapest. The Hungarian Prime Minister spoke about Hungary, conservatism and the imminent collapse of progressive leftist forces in Europe.

Good morning, all of you. Welcome to the Conservatives from around the planet – from Washington to Georgia, from Estonia to Chile; With peculiar respect, I greet our good old friend Matt Schlapp, without whom we could not be here today. Thank you for everything.

Welcome all of you to Budapest. I'm happy to welcome you here, although it is common cognition that the planet evidence cannot be broken in the morning. present Hungary has made its mark in global politics. It's remarkable: a 10 million-dollar country, with a modest army and average GDP. Seen from Washington, Brussels, Berlin, Moscow or Beijing is neither applicable nor peculiarly interesting. Modesty and humility, dear Hungarian friends, are so in place. And yet, there's something breathtaking in our country, something exotic. possibly it is simply a language that no 1 understands – and no 1 understands how homo sapiens can talk in specified an extraterrestrial language.

Dear guests, don't effort – if you do this, you will be depressed. What may inspire interest is that for 1,100 years a nation has lived here within its own state – a nation that does not quit a centimeter of its independence. But possibly the most interesting thing is that while all Europe has plunged into the ocean of progressive liberalism, here is simply a miracle: a conservative island: an "island of indifference" that opposes a liberal wave, a Brussels storm and a Washington hurricane. And not only does he argue all this, but he will survive, and even flourish, even succeed, and even triumph—and triumph over and over again. Welcome to the land of difference.

Ladies and gentlemen! It is simply a conservative conference in Europe, which is not threatened with closure. A conservative conference that is safe for the organizers. Nobody here is trying to halt your household from surviving or towing your car. A conservative conference that wasn't moved from place to place. A conservative conference that the police are not called to. All these things happened to us last week in Brussels, where my friend Yoram Hazona and his colleagues organized the National Conservative Conference. It wasn't easy, but it worked. Congratulations to the organizers!

Things are different here. Contrary to all rumours, there is simply a regulation of law here, and anyone can hold a conference they want: they can rent a place they want and say what they want. And unlike my Belgian colleague, the Belgian Prime Minister, even if I wanted to, I could not tell the Hungarian court what to do, what is the right decision. Even if I could, I wouldn't have decided to do it out of spite. It's just here. We Hungarians don't like others interfering in our affairs. As our American friends say, “Don’t step on me!”

In Brussels, the paradise of European liberals, progressive European life has become a reality. I remember an old gag from the dictatorship: “Tell me, have we reached communism yet, or will it get worse?” But, my friends, let's not dwell on the spirit and anguish of Brussels, but let's be happy to be here.

I would like to welcome Mr Tony Abbott, erstwhile Prime Minister of Australia. erstwhile the migration wave began in 2015, he was the western prime minister we admired from Budapest. Greetings! He's our hero. He said migration had to be stopped, and he was the 1 who stopped it. He's the 1 who sent the message that if you cross the border illegally, you can't enter the country. And he showed that it could be done this way. Since then, a model action has become a friendship. Good to have you with us tonight, Prime Minister.

Welcome to Mr. Janez Janša, Prime Minister of Slovenia. The large feat he is capable of is that all time you talk to him, whether in government or in opposition, you feel that you are talking to the Prime Minister. We praise him here as a large and successful warrior, even though the left did everything against him, she dragged him to court, convicted him, and sent him to prison. All this time Brussels was silent. But he always rose, always came out stronger from his struggles and always became Prime Minister. We hope, dear Jane, that 1 day you will share this know-how with us.

Welcome to Mr. Iraq Kobachiga, Prime Minister of Georgia. He is simply a Prime Minister who is considered a actual political chess player in his homeland. No wonder, due to the fact that Georgia's millennial past itself was a large geopolitical chess game: it was about how to preserve a unique language, culture and national identity in the face of danger and conquest of large powers. Georgians have successfully played this game of chess for many centuries. Hello, Prime Minister, thank you very much for being with us. We want only success.

And my friend Mateusz Morawiecki, the erstwhile Prime Minister of Poland, is here – and if he is not here yet, he will be here soon. He and I are old comrades in arms: we fought together in Brussels for sovereignty, stopping migration and protecting our families and children. We, Poles and Hungarians, fought together for all that is crucial to us and what the progressive left wanted to endure, and we fought against what she wanted to impose on us. It's a good thing our friend Matthew will be with us. We look forward to gathering him again in Brussels at the head of the Polish armed forces.

Many people came from the United States, Israel, Spain, Brazil, Chile, the Netherlands, Belgium and France. I would like to send a peculiar welcome to Hungarians abroad. Good thing you're here – this is simply a good chance to meet.

Dear friends, 2 years ago, during the first CPAC in Budapest, I told you with due modesty about the Hungarian reception for success. Last year I talked about Hungary being a laboratory against the virus of progressive liberalism – with global patents. These are crucial subjects, but alternatively theoretical. However, 2024 is not a year of theory, but a year of practice.

The election will take place all over the planet and we must win it. These elections coincide over time with crucial global political and geopolitical changes. The order of the planet is changing, and we must express our concerns in the face of these changes. Progressive liberals sense danger. The end of this era marks its end: the end of the progressive spirit of the world.

So remember: they are determined to do everything, to stay in power. They are dangerous opponents who have no moral qualms. They are in power and do not hesitate to usage the resources they have. If necessary, you will usage it against us. As our American friends put it, “the assembly of state institutions”. And all this is happening right in front of us.

Nam, Hungary in Brussels, it happens all the time. This is happening with president Trump in America. We root for him to gain his rights – not only in elections, but in court. Our opponents sit in seats of power, at the top of the institution, and alternatively of serving the common good, they plan to get free of us. This is where we gotta win. This may be something fresh for people in the West, but not for us people in Central Europe. We know the situation very well. We saw the communists applying political oppression. But I don't think everyone in the West is acquainted with that, so let's take care of it for a fewer minutes now.

Dear friends, in the past, communists have followed a five-step procedure to enslave us. Now the progressives do the same. With these 5 steps, they turn state organs into force tools.

First, they re-formulate the norms. George Orwell realized it and described it this way: “War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength." The first step in the repressive programme of progressive liberals is to give the standard precisely the other meaning. "War is peace" is something that progressives are repeating to this day. "Peace Facility" is called the Brussels financial fund, from which they send the most destructive weapon to the front. "Migration is simply a resource," they say, while crime is growing, the threat of terrorism is expanding and assurance in our societies is weakening.

The second step is to usage state tools to spread this reverse normality. Anyone who thinks otherwise is suspicious: something's incorrect with him. Anyone who thinks otherwise is either a fool or a madman.

Then comes the 3rd step erstwhile they spread the word that you are a safety threat due to the fact that you have dangerous views. They agree that you do not share what is considered normal, and so you are a radical, and freedom of speech must be limited without hesitation.

Then, in step four, the liberal press is incited against you. Activists are mobilised, and then you are silenced by court proceedings. This leads to false accusations on the Internet, reports on social media, and hordes of alleged civilian society organizations bombard courts and state institutions with accusations against you.

And if you last all this, in the 5th step, the state institutions will take action. They have received so many complaints and accusations that they are forced to investigate. Thus, public institutions become private institutions of progressives. They accuse you, and in the end, the government is utilized to silence you. This is what Hungarians do in Brussels and what they do to Conservatives in progressive liberal European capitals. The same is happening in the United States, where president Donald Trump is being tried in court to exclude president Trump from the election. The same happens in the European Union, where attempts are being made to impose a ban on the entry of Tucker Carlson through administrative procedures. This is the case in Germany, where political parties are monitored by peculiar services. This happened in Finland, where politicians and bishops were to be prosecuted for quoting the Scriptures.

Ladies and gentlemen! This is where we are. But the good news is we can put an end to this right now. This year, if God permits, we can end the unholy age of Western civilization. We can end a planet order based on liberal hegemony.

My friends, the spirit of the progressive-liberal planet has completely failed. He brought into the planet wars, chaos and unrest, economical collapse and disorder. Disorder in global politics, impoverishment of families, deterioration of public safety on the streets and in public spaces. These were unusual times and unusual spirits. Their supporters preached that their occupation was not to represent the people, but to impose their own ideals.

And if the facts did not confirm their ideals, the worse for the facts. They divided the planet into democracies and autocracies and claimed that their task was to crusade against autocracy. They set off, waged war, exported democracy. And yet people got sick of them wherever they came.

Let us face it: this order of the planet has produced leaders who are incapable to lead, who are incapable to meet the task, who make 1 mistake after another, and who are yet going to their own end. They say there must be a hegemon, an ideological supremacy that everyone must submit to. And erstwhile that happens, they say, there will be peace in their own country and peace in the world. My friends, erstwhile I perceive to them, I feel that beauty competition participants know more about planet peace than they do.

I would like to say, dear friends, that this is simply a unique chance to replace the declining spirit of progressive liberalism with another spirit of the world: the sovereign order of the world. But how would that work? How can we imagine that?

Firstly, in the sovereign order of the world, there may not be a global ideology that everyone must submit to. In specified a world, the actions of states will be determined by their national interests, and all independent nation will act in accordance with its own national interests. I besides believe that in the sovereign order of the world, a actual sovereign is simply a nation—or, as our guests would say, the "skilliness of the people." I hope that we will no longer let all kinds of NGOs, large corporations, media giants, questionable experts and babbling academics to tell us what is right and what should be done, but elected representatives and politicians elected by the nation.

I imagine that the spirit of the sovereign planet will replace the "open society" of the "protected society" kind of Soros: a society in which the state protects its citizens; a society where migration is not organised but borders are protected. A society where household is highly valued and the household is protected as an crucial institution of the nation. I imagine that in a sovereign world, the planet economy will be organized in accordance with the rule of common benefit, free from ideology. Everyone will be able to trade with anyone, and it will be up to individual countries to build a network of links that will prevent them from falling into unequal relationships of dependency.

Dear friends, on the eve of the election we should dare say that liberal hegemony has made the planet worse. It caused war where peace might have prevailed. He brought chaos where order prevailed. It seeks to destruct our countries and our families and wipe out our nations from the face of the earth. The students of this old planet are inactive sitting in Brussels; and while it is not my occupation to interfere in American interior policy, I fear they are besides sitting in Washington.

This year we are determined to throw them out. Let the sovereign era yet come! Let us return to the peaceful and safe way that made the West great. Let's make America large again! Let us make Europe large again! Go, Donald Trump! To battle, European sovereigns! Let's get on the saddle, let's put on our armor, let's go to the battlefield and let the election conflict begin!

My friends, we have unforgettable weeks ahead of us. Forward to victory!
