– I personally consider it the right decision to reject the accounts of the Law and Justice Office. But what I consider it a mistake that the Civic Platform's financial statements have not been rejected. due to the fact that we had almost identical facts in this case, at least from the legal side.
The main charge against PiSu was the place of the Ministry of Justice, which did not include open agitation, did not include open encouragement to vote for the PiS, but was carried out during the campaign, 1 of the candidates appeared there, Zbigniew Ziobro, and it was reported to PKW – and was made for public money. I exactly the same event during the Civic Platform run was “Campus of the Future” in August 2023!
There were active candidates active in the campaign, candidates for the civilian Coalition. This was financed by public money, not only Polish public money provided by local governments, but besides German public money transferred through the Adenauer Foundation. It was during the campaign, PKW knew it. All the same criteria, all the same allegations made to PiS, besides applied to “Campus of the Polish Future”.
PKW at Campus Polska said: no no no no, since the typical of the Civic Coalition says that everything is fine, it is clearly all right – and accepted the Citizens' Platform report.
If we are to apply rigorism to the financial policy of political parties, which I, too, as Treasurer of the Confederacy, am a large supporter of that rigorism so that we do not let public money to be utilized in any way to conduct our campaign, let us do so consistently! Not in the way the Civic Platform is presently doing, which is that it is utilizing the politicization of the PKW to attack political opponents, to deprive any of, possibly shortly the full backing of 1 of the opposition parties, and they themselves are doing precisely what these opposition parties accuse.
