MANFESTATION OF ‘SOLIDARITY AND’ IN THE PROTECTION OF FREE MEDIA

On December 21, a protest gathering was held before the Provincial Office in Krakow against illegal ways of taking over public media by the fresh government.
The Manifestation brought together representatives of various backgrounds and organizations, including political parties of PiS and Sovereign Poland, Polish paper Clubs, NSZZ “Solidarity” and non-attached people, who before the seat of the nearest typical of the state authority – the Voivodes, wanted to protest against illegality.
The protest was conducted by Ryszard Majdzik, and was accompanied by the heads of the Polish paper Clubs, the erstwhile Vice-Voivode of Małopolska Mateusz Małodziński, the erstwhile Małopolska Education Curator, Barbara Nowak, the Vice-President of the Krakow City Council Michał Drewnicki, the head of the Kraków SP Mirosław Boruta and others.
The gatherings demanded compliance with the law in the process of taking power in the state by the fresh government, and pointed out that the form of taking power over public tv resembled the darkest martial law events prior to
42 years old.
The gatherings demanded that media pluralism in Poland be preserved and that the organisers of the electoral forgery process of 15 October this year as a consequence of which the opposition could be rather powerful.

MIROSLAV BORUTA CALLS
Mirosław Boruta – Krakowski from Solidarne Poland called for the gathered to reunite in the fight against the common enemy, who turn out to be people surviving and surviving in our country again, but who do everything to guarantee that Poland loses its sovereignty and is subject in all respect to Brussels and Berlin.
– It does not substance whether it is simply a political party, Polish paper Clubs or a trade union. It is crucial that we argue the submission of Poland to abroad forces, although done with Polish hands!
The assembly called on the president of Poland, Andrzej Duda, to join with the authority of his office in restoring constitutional norms and restoring media pluralism proportional to political beliefs in Polish society.
The Manifestation under the Provincial Office ended with the singing of the Polish national anthem.
