Dear Mr President,
During the large manifestation of parents and teachers in Warsaw Castle Square, on 1 December 2024 we expressed a strong opposition to the depravity of our children and the demolition of the safety of Polish schools by introducing a fresh subject already called the beginning of "sexual education" by government politicians, and officially and for the failure of the defined "health education".
On the innocence of our children, there is no compromise on good and safe education. As parents, teachers, pedagogues, subject-matter experts and lawyers – united under the common slogan “YAK for education! NO for depravity!” – we request the state authorities to respect the constitutional and natural right of parental education; designation that the function of the school is to teach and educate within the limits of the stated consent of parents, their beliefs and faith.
As stated in the Joint Declaration ending the Sunday manifestation, “we claim our inalienable, inviolable and natural rights, as confirmed in the Constitution of the Republic of Poland: parents have the right to rise children according to their own beliefs (Article 48(1)) and parents have the right to supply children with education and moral and spiritual teaching in accordance with their beliefs (Article 53(3)).”
We besides share the conviction that Polish education and education, in accordance with the Preambula of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland, should rise citizens grateful to our ancestors for their work, for the fight for independency occupied by immense sacrifices, for the culture rooted in the Christian heritage of the Nation and for human values.
The program, which means extremist sexualisation of children under the appearance of health-promoting education, is rejected entirely. The analyses indicate beyond uncertainty that the wellness content of the fresh subject is already in the programme of another subjects and should be developed there. The only new, real goal of the government improvement is to bring compulsory sex education to the Polish school. At the same time, it must be stressed that the sexuality of man has been the subject of a voluntary subject for years of Raising for Life in the Family, which issues of the improvement of psychosexual children and young people sit in a proper, consistent natural and constitutional axiology, a context of love, work and family. In this place, the government task presents the unacceptable, reducing educational perfect of a young man seeking pleasance without the context of social work and morality, limited only by wellness safety and situational consent. We know very well that this model of sexual education, implemented in a number of European countries, has led to disastrous effects on health, individual happiness and the social situation, as we have been extensively informed by guests from abroad. Meanwhile, the Polish way confirmed household happiness, taught to build lasting and liable relationships, besides established effectively the lowest rates of venereal diseases, teenage pregnancies or sexual force against women and girls. We must not lose this accomplishment in the name of ideological confusion.
The innocence of our children, like life, freedom or family, is not a moral issue. It cannot be the subject of political trade fairs and compromises. It is simply a substance of natural, constitutionally certified and global law position of the family, the "natural and fundamental cell of society", which is "authorised for the protection of society and the state", as well as confirmation that "parents enjoy the right of precedence as regards the choice of education for their children" (Universal Declaration of Human Rights).
In this spirit there was a strong voice of the Polish Episcopal Conference, which clearly defined the draft government regulation with depraved records" and claimed the constitutional rights of families and parents.
We besides welcome the clear position of the National Broadcasting Council, as well as all voice of experts, politicians, social and spiritual leaders, people of culture and athletics who side with children, parents, families, schools and teachers.
Therefore, we ask the president to express a strong opposition to the unconstitutional, conflicting natural rights of parents and immoral government project. As guardian of the Constitution, you are peculiarly obliged to talk erstwhile fundamental rights are at stake. We believe that your voice can aid to strengthen the position of parents and teachers in their efforts to defend our children.
