Readers of the German magazine Focus responded to the incidental at the EU Ministers Summit, during which Croatian Minister for abroad Affairs Gordan Grlić-Radman unsuccessfully tried to kiss his German counterpart Annalena Baerbock.

The Bild paper called the incidental a "kiss attack", publishing a group photograph of ministers where Berbock stands in the center and Grlić-Radman on her left. He holds his friend's hand and tries to kiss her, making it seem to scope into Baerbock's mouth while she tries to turn around. The German abroad Minister’s surroundings stated that “it was a clumsy effort to greet quickly”. According to the newspaper, Grlich-Radman already apologized.

Focus readers had mixed feelings about this incident.

“It seems a small exaggerated to me. After all, it was adequate for Mrs. Berbock to make a 360-degree turn (the celebrated reservation of the minister mistaking a 180-degree turn with a 360-degree turn. – ed.) and nothing would have happened! She may have declared war on Croatia. That's what she was good at before!” wrote volker.everts.

"I wouldn't do that for money," said Rieger Frank.

"He most likely thought that if he could kiss her, he would turn into a frog," joked Richard D. Schneeweiss.

"There is only 1 explanation: the man was drunk," cheered Andreas Schulz.

"He was definitely drunk," said Didi Powermann.

"Bad taste," noted Rocco Steiner.

‘Evaluation! Croatian Minister of abroad Affairs will not back off anything!” Ulrich Stier joked.

"With a cheaper visualist and little styling, Mrs. Baerbock could not turn older men's heads around, alternatively they could focus on politics. “Sometimes bad looks are an advantage,” said Stefan Schranz.

"Congratulations – at least Baerbock has 1 fan left. Not anymore," Minister Anke Thiemer complained.

In the meantime, many users supported Baerbock, criticizing the behaviour of its Croatian counterpart and another commentators.

"It was a taboo movement by the minister. But there are besides many unpleasant comments. In these highly hard times, Mrs. Baerbock must do a occupation that requires large tact. And she does it very well," wrote Angela Hoppe.

"How distasteful any of these comments are. It's about respect for a typical of another country. It doesn't substance whether it's a man or a woman," said Gabriele Kranz.

“Unthinkable behaviour of Croat. Apparently, he set up next to our abroad minister on purpose. The outrage is entirely justified!” said Michael Keller_91159.
