Illegal activity and deficiency of respect for the law – deportation of Ukrainian citizen from Poland

Wroniec police officers detained a 39-year-old Ukrainian citizen who has committed a number of crimes and offences since the beginning of the year, violating the legal order in Poland.

After analyzing his actions and deficiency of legal residence, the man was transferred to the Border defender and deported to his country. He was banned from entering Poland and the full Schengen area.

The case started in January and February 2025, erstwhile a series of thefts occurred in 1 of the markets in Wronki. According to police officers, the perpetrator was just a detainee of Ukraine. The losses were estimated at over 1500 PLN. The man avoided contact with the services, did not have a permanent place of residence and did not take legal employment.

Officers from Wronek carried out operational activities which led to his arrest. In the course of the proceedings, it became apparent that this was not the first time a man had broken the law. He has already been punished many times – among another things, for driving despite a judicial ban and another shoplifting in the territory of Nowotomy. The list of offences besides included many traffic offences.

Taking into account the scale and nature of the violations, the Police territory Commander in Szamotuły applied for an work of the foreigner to return to the country. After the Border Guard's decision, the man was handed over to the services of his country. In addition to deportation, he was besides banned from re-entry into Poland and another Schengen countries.

This is another case in which a foreigner who does not comply is removed from Poland. The services stress that breaking the law will not be tolerated, regardless of the nationality of the perpetrator.
