Sławomir Mentzen:
– past has accelerated, a lot is happening at this minute in the planet and everything indicates that the destiny of Central and east Europe will be decided in the coming weeks. Therefore, as a Confederate, we are making a motion for a resolution of the Sejm calling on the government not to send troops to Ukraine, regardless of the circumstances.
This resolution is highly crucial for the following reasons. First of all, we should not send troops to Ukraine due to the fact that we already have very crucial tasks in the safety architecture of Central and east Europe.
We already have a border with Russia, we already have a border with Belarus, Poland is already a victim of hybrid war on the Polish border with Belarus and the task of the Polish Army is to defender the border of the Polish State. No one's firing us. No 1 can replace us here. No 1 else will defend Poland's border with Russia, Poland's border with Belarus than the Polish Army.
Countries that with Russia do not border, specified as Italy, France, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, of course, that they can, or should even, send their troops to Ukraine to defender safety there, but the Polish Army should primarily defender the safety of Poles. ...
