NFZ: Restrictions on doctors' salaries in Poland.

The government is trying to regulate salaries in public wellness care, introducing maximum rates for doctors, which would revise the "pay chaotic West". However, this wage frost may origin medical professionals to decision to the private sector, resulting in longer queues in hospitals. Helpful transparency and control of contracts are not enough; without expanding the number of specialists, only cost reductions will not save NFZ. Deeper systemic problems stay and the government needs to level the paths for public workers to fight not only wages but besides deficiency of staff.
