I support all health-promoting initiatives, but... the words of the honourable Minister of wellness Izabel Leszczyna at the Campus Polska event about the vaccination of young girls against HPV [cervical cancer] are either conscious manipulation, or the effect of a "pressure" of large pharma or... a lie.
How can young girls be publically told that “There is no cervical cancer anywhere – it is only in Poland due to the fact that we have not been vaccinated against HPV“!
For God's sake! I realize that you're a Polish scholar, and I respectfully remind you that you're currently... wellness MINISTER. What is this propaganda?????? No cervical cancer anywhere – only in Poland????? If a young girl wants to get vaccinated - let her get vaccinated, of course, but against the words of the Minister of Health, as an MP in the Parliamentary Committee on Health, I express outrage! And if someone's missing something at the wellness Department, I'll aid complete the message:
• In Australia, before the introduction of the HPV vaccination programme (2006), the HPV incidence rate was 68 per 10,000 women. In 2022 (after 16 years of vaccination programme), the incidence rate for cervical cancer was... 71 out of 10,000 women.
• In the United Kingdom, cervical cancer has virtually not changed since vaccination against HPV was introduced.
• For the session of the ‘Safety of kid and Adult Vaccination Team’ on 14 June 2019, it was confirmed that ‘Practically in all countries with HPV vaccination, the incidence of cervical cancer has not only decreased, but in many cases even increased significantly.” [source: No. 3*]
• The National Library of medicine in the United States confirmed that "HPV vaccine has been recommended in Switzerland since 2007 for women aged 11-26 years. Results show no decrease since 2007, suggesting that vaccination has not so far affected the number of cervical cancers“
• Prof. Jan Madej (co-founder of “Center of cervical and vulva diseases”) confirmed that “in countries with advanced rates of public transplantation (...) a crucial increase in the incidence of advanced precancer /CIN2+/ and cervical cancer caused by HPV types absent in vaccines“.
PS. And it's not actual that vaccines are free. The Polish payer pays for everything at the end due to the fact that the Ministry of wellness has no money.
