Mentzen: “Krzysztof Bosak errs... We request to be independent of the Law and Justice, or we will become an addition.”

In January, even before the hot phase of the election campaign, there was an inconspicuous bet in the "Graffiti" program studio.

The editor asked if Sławomir Mentzen was willing to bet that he would defeat competitors from his own political camp. The answer was quick:

“Can I put on good wine with the editor?” Mentzen proposed.

Bet's accepted. And in May, it was settled. The leader of the Confederate, who exceeded 14% of his support, welcomed the following:

"The word is more costly than money. Good Polish wine. I looked from the Polish winery, from the Polish vineyard.”

But the conversation didn't halt at the wine. Mentzen utilized the chance to present a broader political vision, distancing himself from the camp of both Rafal Trzaskowski and Karol Nawrocki:

“I officially do not support either.”

However, this does not mean complete neutrality. The Leader of fresh Hope predicts that his electorate will clearly thin to the right:

“I think at least 70% of my constituents will vote for Karol Nawrocki.”

Mentzen described in item his meetings with both candidates:

"The conversation with Trzaskowski was very confrontational. He wanted to show the difference. Karol Nawrocki was curious in getting my constituents – that was a completely different tactic.”

The celebrated "beer with Trzaskowski", which caused a storm on social media, commented in a characteristic style:

"The only thing I regret is that interest in this beer has covered the conversation with Rafał Trzaskowski. It was a very good conversation.”

However, the most electrifying proved to be an interior dispute in the Confederacy. Krzysztof Bosak publically criticized Mentzen's gesture, claiming that he would never sit down for beer with Trzaskowski. The leader of fresh Hope responded coolly:

“I think Krzysztof Bosak is wrong, but we have the right to differ. It's perfectly normal. We are leaders of 2 parties forming the Confederate. We may disagree in our assessments, we may disagree in our purposes.”

Mentzen consistently builds the image of an independent player:

“We must be independent of the PiS, or we will become a PiS appartment.”

Nor does he hide that his mark is the 2027 election. He is already planning to position the Confederate as a language in importance:

"Perfect situation? 1 where no government can be created without us.”

He besides proudly recalls his run advantage:

"I don't think any writer could do the 2 interviews I did in this campaign. I did – due to the fact that they had to.”
