During the election debate there was a sharp tension between the talker of the Sejm Simon Holovnia and Sławomir Mentzen. The leader of the Confederate accused Holownia that this 1 is simply a “coalicist of Tusk”. He added that he would not like to be in a coalition with a squad pursuing German interests in Poland.
During the Monday's tv debate, the Republic of the Confederate candidate Sławomir Mentzen asked Holovnia if he was ashamed that he had failed his constituents through a coalition with Donald Tuski. “You promised to be the 3rd way, you were to halt both sides from being crazy. Unfortunately, you legitimize this madness. If it weren't for you, there wouldn't be an illegal takeover of TVP, the national prosecutor's office, there wouldn't be any failure to admit the ultimate Court and the Constitutional Court. You are a associate of this coalition, a guarantor of its continued existence, and you are trying to distance yourself from it at this point," Mentzen said.
"You are a Tusk coalitionist and do not hide this from Poles any longer," said Sławomir Mentzen.
The Marshal of the Sejm replied that he had the courage to take work for Poland and to fight for matters that are crucial to Poles. He added that Confederate politicians are cowards "who are comfortable to take money from the state." At the same time, he encouraged the leader of the Confederacy to join the coalition. “You could join a squad that wants to change something in the state,” said Szymon Hołownia.
These words angered the leader of the Confederacy, who replied decisively. "Join the lawbreaking team? Doing German business? I would never join there, delight don't insult me" – wrote Mentzen.
Simon Holovnia then asked his question to the Confederate candidate. "In 2023 there was a situation in Podlasie that a mentally disabled 24-year-old was raped by her uncle and she wanted to, had to, to undergo abortion. Should this female go to prison for 10 years, in your opinion? Because, as far as I remember in the 100 Mentzen laws, specified a request to punish women for abortion was a 10-year prison," said the 3rd Way candidate.
"No, I don't think she should go to jail for this," Mentzen replied. “Why did you change your mind?” "I have not changed my mind, I have never had specified an opinion," said Mentzen.
"You had Mentzen's 100 laws" – continued Hołownia. “I think I know better than you what I thought, and I didn’t think so,” stressed the Confederate candidate.
The Confederate candidate added that if 1 does not want rapes in Poland, 1 cannot accept mass migrations from Asia or Africa.
He besides showed a photograph of December 2023 showing Simon Holovnia in the company of migrants who came to the Sejm for a Christmas Eve gathering and said that he allowed people who were illegally crossing the Polish border into the Sejm.
