The president accepted quite a few our arguments on the "day after" tablet and agreed with the majority. He besides shared any doubts that he had to settle in his conscience. However, he has not yet told us what circumstantial decision he will make on the passed government law, but he has pointed out that there is area for agreement. We know that there are respective constitutional possibilities – it can sign the bill, sign it and address only 1 of the articles to The Constitutional Court, or even veto the full thing. There are respective options that are being considered.
As Members of the Left Club, we feel that we have done everything possible to bring about the adoption and implementation of changes. We appreciate that this conversation has taken place and hope that the president will take into account not only the voice of his political community, but besides the ruling coalition and, above all, the Poles we represent.
We are waiting for a decision with hope. The president has until next day to take it.
