Yesterday in Warsaw we met at a pre-Christmas gathering organized by the Association of Polish Compatants of the Second planet War led by Roland Dubowski. Our Warsaw friends have prepared fish, salad, borscht, pastries and sweets for us.
The gathering was attended by members and sympathizers from various regions of Poland. Actors of friendly parties and organizations, including representatives of Polish thought Clubs (Warsaw, Szczecin, Katowice, Białystok) and the editorial board “Polish Thoughts”, besides took part. Roland Dubowski's colleague has the ability to focus people with different views around him, but agreeing for the main intent – that is, to act for sovereign Poland.
Roland Dubowski spoke about the importance of culture and tradition for our people. He besides introduced the gathered in the pre-Christmas mood. Among the speakers at the gathering were: Colonel Tadeusz Kowalczyk, president of SSPKIIWŚ Roland Dubowski, editor Mateusz Piskorski (Myśl Polska), editor Tomasz Jankowski (channel Against Censur), editor Jarosław Augustyniak (channel “Jarosław seeks trouble”), Dr Włodzimierz Gorki (Polish Left Movement), Henryk Miketyn (Polish-Belarusian relationship Society), Piotr Panasiuk (Safe Poland) or known for decades in national-democratic environments Andrzej Turek and Jan Rudziński. Łukasz Jastrzębski (who wrote these words) spoke on behalf of the Polish thought Clubs.
General situation in the country was discussed by the Honorary president of the SSPKIIWW. Colonel Tadeusz Kowalczyk. He instilled optimism and hope for better. Mateusz Piskorski stressed the importance of specified meetings for the integration of patriotic environments and the construction of a network of free movement of blocked information.
During the gathering older numbers of “Polish Thoughts” could be obtained, as well as a book published by the Library of Polish Thoughts “Ukraine – between war and peace”.
