But that time has passed. The first freshness is over, now it's time to show character, views, agendas. In fact, it is not truly clear what Simon Holowna thinks. Sometimes it seems like none. It's so centred, so in the middle, that it's pudding with peas. The only thing we know for certain is that he likes popularity, public appearances and that he pursues power and position with large determination.
Although he wrote twenty-one books and spoke willingly, I have the impression that he is trying to stand in the middle, to say yes, but no, to keep his head down. Although in the exposé he pointed out that he had definitely different views than many people in the parliament hall, it is inactive unknown what exactly.
He is in favour of the separation of the Church from the state, but devoted his books mainly to religion (I have read only one, the 1 about the election run Factory of tomorrow, so I draw from article Witold Mrozek). Socially cardinal themes specified as women's rights, LGBT rights or abuse of power by Church, however, these are substitute subjects for him – whether in the current politics or in the human relation with God. He engaged in protests against the tightening of the TK's abortion sentence, but was late for the protest.
