Marcin Drewicz: Candidate for the Office of the president of Poland – Part 7: Who and how chokes Polish culture?

This is the case with respect to the 45-year period of the Polish People's Republic, as well as the 35-year post-PRL period (as the time flies fast!) we propose – this can be carried out under the patronage of the president of Poland (State!) or by, for example, the State Institute of National Memory (sic!) – conducting a comprehensive sociological and historical investigation of this programme already with the top of the three-generation (!) a collective of official-medial-journalist (resortary children, hotel grandchildren), which during these decades decided on specified a program, and not another programme, and it is the Polish Radio (recently besides with another councils emitting in Polish) and about the content of the Polish tv (recently besides on another tv broadcasts in Polish), about the content contained in various magazines, about the past of books, but besides about the school's programmes (in particular, related Ministry) and about the content of school textbooks (s), about music authors and musical works (in between music and music producers, and music productions, as well as about music productions, and music productions, and music productions, and

And so on. Let us remember the close relation between these decision-making actions and censorship in any form or form – and the erstwhile “on the Mouse” and the later, sometimes finesse (sic!).

In another words, who? Who are these people? Three-four generations (since 1944). What collective as wide as possible social characteristics? due to the fact that the erstwhile membership of the Polish United Workers' organization is, yes, very important, usually conclusive (!), but only part of the larger whole. What kind of people – who collected, regular and not tiny salaries from their pockets, wanting not to, all Poles – collectively worked (this is rather a good term) Polish-speaking culture, art and together with them universal education during the last eighty years? And they're inactive doing it!

But what should be stressed – here we are not talking about artists, nor about any creators at all. This very complex and indeed crucial collective must be said separately, which we are not doing here.

And those, these, let's call it, the price-declarers, if they are inactive doing wrong—if wrong, what we repeat—then we (!) should not destruct the state institutions (or others) that they have mastered, but let us do it ourselves—the "March" by these institutions, but... in the other direction—to the good (!).

However, we anticipate that our arguments contain any mention to those motives which led this Candidate for president of Poland erstwhile he called for the liquidation of the Ministry of Culture and Art and any another state institutions.

Alists – we repeat – in these days it is not so refined in the era of the Polish People's Socialism-communism that the tension between the State and the PRIVATE decides about quality and honesty. We have dozens of private Polish-language tv channels and radio stations today. What? Is it due to their “private” and “non-state” (formerly referred to as “independence”; but – from whom?) they carry out this "infrared” POLSKA AND CATOLICK MISSION?

You got to be kidding me! How many times, for example, it was the national Polish-speaking broadcaster who noticed that present we are celebrating: Christmas, Easter... erstwhile no specified message, or even the lightest suggestion, came from a program given by many Polish-speaking "privateist".

Not adequate on this – it is the many private foreign, among them the "international" or "corporate" media-contra-cultural powers that present crush both Polish culture and cultures of another nations, closer and further with us neighbouring. It turns out that as the last instance of defence against this force appears – due to the fact that who else? – your own State with its specialized institutions; only hope not cast by the enemy, the interior one, or the traitor!

“Polak! Polak! Non-buyer! Polak! Polak! Non-buyer!”. erstwhile will we besides hear this simple slogan chanted on the streets and squares by crowds of these Polish patriots (a miracle to presume or not)?

Catholic media, Catholic radio, Catholic television, Catholic media... Something like this in PRL was absolutely unthinkable and beyond imagination. In the mediate of Warsaw, in the primary school, how many times it sounded – due to the fact that it was inevitable in Poland! – any word associated even indirectly with the Church, the full student held his head in his arms and leaned low over the book – it was not me! It's not me!

This was the case, there and then, so in the saturated population "from social promotion" (sic!) and at the same time in the rubble of the capital of the communist country, despite the fact that 2 thirds of these students participated erstwhile a week in this "other reality", that is, in the lesson taught by the priest in the parish catechist chamber, and on Sunday in the Holy Mass in the parish church (only 2 thirds, or possibly only 3 fifths, due to the fact that it was in that communist capital, alternatively than in the devout province).

But now, i.e. for respective decades now, these Catholic mass media have been working, and it is moving. They already have their own story. Well? Is the broad activity of these institutions, by itself, a warrant of the improvement and growth of this Holy Catholic religion in Poland?

percent dominicantes The percentages of Catholic matrimony and Baptism Vows fall rapidly, due to the fact that besides the percent of Catholics themselves among the general population presently settling in Poland is decreasing (for very different reasons!). The number of divorces in Poland is increasing; similarly, the number of families (parents) alleged patchwork families (what is the word? It besides tells us where this plague came from). And this – this is inactive unbelievable, but this is said to be indeed – an authoritative “exit from the Church.”

What sick head and soul within the nominally Roman Catholic clergy was this blasphemous idea? highly untheological! Do “They” truly think that they are competent to invalidate any Holy Sacrament, that “when they divorce in court” they will invalidate the Sacrament of Marriage, and at the time of work at the parish office “outgoing/out of the Church” will even invalidate the Holy Baptism? Then they're fundamentally wrong! These are hard evidence of the deep fall of Catholic catechism and Catholic preaching in Poland today!

So many numbers, or alternatively directions of change, due to the fact that to the area of the Highness of the Spirit and the Purity of the Doctrine we no longer scope here (not all at once).

So if even specified a wonderful Catholic mass media are not competent to fulfill their first task – and unfortunately they are not or are only partially – then why? What are the reasons for this? Neither does it miss “private” with “state” and in addition with “ecclesiastical” (sic!) had to ask. But this is simply a subject for separate considerations.

Whether it is simply a deficiency of information in the Polish-language mass media, private with the state (and in addition to church) or – on the contrary – the flood-waterfall of the most varied information is liable for the fact that – but this is just 1 of many – about the existence itself and hence about the artistic activity of a celebrated tenor present of about 50 years (at the same time an opera vocalist and not an opera singer) it happened only recently, with how much delay, in fact, from the Internet, from "virtual".

What a remarkable invention, this Internet! How many another noteworthy artists and authors we besides know from non-internet, private, state and another sources small or nothing. Even in any periods of the Polish People's Republic it was a small better (that we would hazard specified an "unlawful" presumption here). Yes, at the time it was alive, and it was inactive working... the pre-war generation.

But there is besides this fresh problem, to be overcome most likely more effective by state mediums than by private ones – it is partially or very dependent on... advertisers (and fights between these advertisers).

Well, what has been just a short time ago was simply a cultural publication and the presentation of works of art itself (e.g. recordings on the radio), i.e. – mostly speaking – the widest and simplest INFORMATION of audiences about works, works, authors, content, meanings, interpretations, performances and performers, in our unusual times is treated by increasingly numerous... no more than commercial advertising of these works, authors and their impressionaries, publishers, issuers... etc.

So this is simply a situation taken decisively FROM our Latin civilization. You pay for advertising. So there will not be any mention of the thing not paid in this new, how--let us admit--the chaotic arrangement (!).

Alis of artistic art can't be... THE CONTRIBUTION BENEFITS due to the fact that it has a peculiar supermaterial property; though it will not last as much as any another earnings for regular bread without money. For, "a individual is worthy of his wages."

Oh, my God! That in writing this is just as quoted above, we are reminded... of a considerable distance in time. Here are the children sitting on the table eating delicious pancakes, and this S.P. The Honourable Way of the woman of that Generation ("before that war"), which serves them these very hand-made treats, sings at the same time, and these are different phrases, not necessarily sad as above.

This is the power of Pre-Revolutionary Civilization, viewed on a daily-elementary-common-adventure level. But besides the reasons for our first part of this series of remarks about the Polish Family.

So – we guess that, although we do not have adequate cognition about it – public news about masterpieces or about outstanding artists, especially erstwhile the newer one, there is no chance to appear on a particular, for example by the scope of a given language (here: Polish) media-cultural marketplace (what a term!), unless for any reason it will be there, the message itself (!) ... paid.

For any reason not paid. So, is that why in the non-internet circulation, this Polish-language, to many music lovers no information about, for example, the celebrated singer-tenor for decades simply... They didn't make it. And that (as well as many others) worth gathering the artist to Poland did not scope Poland erstwhile (maybe only once, at the threshold of his turning career). But what is he doing here, in an empty area (!) or in a tiny area (!), erstwhile the people of this country inactive have no cognition of even its existence?

Since elsewhere, tickets to his even short recitals have already been purchased. “The eagle will not fly in g...” – as the Polish poet consciously notes.

Isn't there another field of action for this state-owned cultural institution (Ministry and its agenda) in terms so long promoted by the Holy Church of the Principles of Subsidiarity?

As for works, creators, artists and Polish performers, whether active in the country or abroad, or in exile voluntarily – as in fresh times or not voluntarily – as in the times before last and old, this sad and joyful sound, let's say that melancholy, in fact how dramatic, and how old the motto is: "You know nothing, you do not know what you own."

Oh, New-Polish boredom! “You don’t know...” and so – what we repeat (for Socrates) - Knowledge! Knowledge! And again: Knowledge! This message is in general about Knowledge, and even more about BLOKING access to cognition and about our attempts to overcome this blockade... utilizing state institutions for this purpose.

The author here assures us that he does not lobby for any peculiar or sectarian benefit due to the fact that he has no relation or “knowledge” with the people or environments referred to here.

possibly it's bad. If not, long ago at least 1 very beneficial issue for the wide scope of readers of Poles would have been successfully pushed. Ministerial cells would work – see above – as a useful tool (sic!). Privates would besides see an chance for themselves. Oh, yeah, look for wind in the field.

So it is not good, although – as we inactive encourage – it is worth looking for reasons for specified a situation, so to learn more about, among another things, the many collectives of these "doing in culture" MANAGERS-CENZORS-DECIDENTS, which is simply a collective Polish culture of "shocks" for a very long time, due to the fact that for the last eighty (!) years.

Let us be clear: we complain about those among them who have been guilty (!) and not those who have done useful works or have been bullied (!) for trying to do specified works. It should be apparent to everyone.

So, what kind and thought of SYMBOLICAL STRENGTHES has been utilized for specified a long time and is inactive applied to the national and Catholic Polish collective? Where does inspiration come from? National and foreign. Let this besides be the subject of these insightful investigation conducted under the patronage of the president of Poland.
