On 15 April, an thought convention of the Polish Anti-War Movement (PRA) was held in 1 of the hotels in Częstochowa. The issues of ideology, tactics and organizations were discussed.
The leaders were Dr. Leszek Sykulski and Sebastian Pitoń. The gathering was attended by representatives of anti-war movements from all over the country – Warsaw, Poznań, Wrocław, Katowice, Krakow, Rzeszów, Gdańsk, Lublin and many another cities. It is worth paying attention to the presence of people of different political orientations – defining themselves as endeks, conservatives, freedomists, leftist, socialists, people's. All gathered combined passwords – NOT FOR WAR and NOT FOR THE AMERICANISATION OF POLAND. Representatives of the Crown, the Movement of 16 Postulates, the Polish Left Movement, spoke. The statements of Renata Gypsy, Włodzimierz Gorki, Adam Hereńczyk, Henryk Miketyn and Mariusz Swidra were worth noting. Of course, there were besides activists of Polish thought Clubs from Krakow, Katowice, Jaworzna.
The most crucial thing is that on 1 May at 12 am in Warsaw there will be MARSZ FOR PEACE. The march will pass the way from the Traugutt Cross to Sanguszko Street to the Sigismund Column at Castle Square. The slogans of the march are – “This is not our war”, “Stop the Americanization of Poland”, “Stop the Flagship of Poland”, “Warszawa City of Peace”, “Peace Yes, War Not”.
The invitation to the march is addressed to all organizations and individuals who argue the war, the Ukrainianization and the Americanization of our Homeland.
