Paweł Kukiz, leader of Kukiz’15, expressed his support for Sławomir Mentzen, a Confederate candidate for president.
In an interview with “Fakt”, he stated:
“I believe that he has a better chance of fighting Trzaskowski than alleged citizen candidate Karol Nawrocki. If Mentzen goes to the second round, and I hope so, then he has my vote!”
Kukiz besides noted the similarities between the current situation of the Confederate and his run in 2015:
“As the highest score of Sławomir Mentzen gives more hope to blow up this PPIS duopol, which evolved for 20 years. They have this comfort, I'm talking about the Confederacy that mostly these haters different, “fascists”, etc., I took on in 2015.”
In turn Dr. Artur Bartoszewicz, an economist declaring his start in elections for the highest office, critically assessed Mentzen's candidacy. In an interview on the Bishop Channel on YouTube, he said:
“Confederation with Mentzen? A kid who runs for president, who can be offended if you talk to him for a while?”
He besides added:
“In Karpacz, I met him, we talked for 15 minutes, he got upset, he started waving his hands and just didn’t know me for the next 2 days.”
Bartoszewicz besides stressed that the Confederacy should consider exposing another candidate:
“People in the Confederacy, wake up. You have truly cool people among your members – you don't have quite a few them, you don't have as much as in the PiS – but you have truly cool people you could put on the presidency.”
Bartoszewicz equally critically assessed Mentzen after his gathering with the president on the “Superexpress” channel.
“As I can see, Sławomir Mentzen, who is already in the process with Andrzej Duda, is already in 1 arrangement, selling the Confederacy and its postulates, young people who believe it”, he stressed.
