On Saturday, May 6th in the Warsaw performance Studio of Polish Radio will be performed by the household Wismal Orchestra. The repertoire will be composed of musical arrangements of works of prominent Polish poets.
"From the poesy of Norwid, Baczyński, Leśmian, Stachura, Szelburg-Zarembina, Iłlakowiczy, Mark Grechuta, folk artists and contemporary authors, we have selected respective texts that contain a very Polish note" – the artists say.
"Inspired by poetry, we scope out to the idiom of national music: romanticist – (Chopin), origin and contemporary, giving compositions the form – from classical orchestrations, to jazz and stone sounds" – added Wszystkie.
"The rich composition of the household orchestra – including respective multi-instrumentalists – allows us to monumental tutti and intimate, very individual performances. In Polish tradition, the word – to dance and to the rosary is simply a peculiar compliment. We are convinced that in the program The Speedy Poem, it is audible” – the musicians promise.
The orchestra's value is the way of being on stage. Family, close relationship, bond and knowing of artists translates into an extraordinary atmosphere and energy of the concert. Guarantees the unpredictability and uniqueness of each performance.
The programme of the concert, although it does not mention straight to the subject of the conflict for independency and does not contain (lately somewhat abused) patriotic strict songs, affirming national poetry, is an author's way of commemorating the National Christmas.
‘Incorporating 2 lullabies (The sky goes dark at night – Szelburg Zarembina and folk lullaby anonymous author Oh lulaj lulaj) we show the origin of the native language and the place of the formation of national identity. For in the singing of parent and in the household house, there is the first gathering with the language, music and poetry. By putting Chopin together and folk music, we point to the sources of inspiration of the top Polish composer" – they introduce the performance of his performer into the atmosphere.
The performance of the household band is besides an chance to show that a multigenerational, large family, combined with religion and respect for national culture, is the best place where the transmission of the native heritage takes place.

It is the only specified orchestra created by 2 generations of artists with the same surname (a full of 14 people*). erstwhile the brothers John, Charles, Martin, Matthew in the early 1990s recorded the first album with carols, respective musicians of the current lineup, there was not yet in the world. Today, it is hard to imagine the Polish music scene without Szczemalski. Educated at Polish and European music colleges, they play in leading compositions, from pop to jazz, from hip-hop to origin music.
