A associate of the British royal household came (with a “symbolically” veiled head!) to meet with representatives of an muslim spiritual number to aid the victims of earthquakes in the mediate East and a “man” to whom she came... refused to shake her hand?! Seriously?!
I realize that individual may have different religion or culture, but the Duchess is “on her land”, and specified behaviour in our European culture and tradition is simply a manifestation of rudeness and deficiency of culture. What is happening to us, Europeans?
I wonder if the “cultural alignment” would have worked the another way – if Iman Sufyanov (as invited guest) had entered the palace of a duchess or Catholic church and the Duchess had given his hand..?
PS. And no – this is not a hatred speech.
