On Tuesday, March 18, 2025, Karol Nawrocki, supported by the Law and Justice presidential candidate, submitted over 1.3 million signatures of support under his candidacy to the State Election Commission (PKW). This is the largest number of signatures from all candidates submitted so far.
Nawrocki, acting president of the Institute of National Memory, thanked all citizens who gave his support, as well as volunteers active in the collection of signatures. He emphasized that so much support motivates him to work even more intensively in the election campaign.
The presidential elections in Poland will be held on 18 May 2025. To date, the State Election Commission has registered 37 election committees candidates for the office of president of the Republic of Poland. According to the electoral calendar, by 24 March 2025 election committees must notify the PKW of their establishment and by 4 April submit a minimum of 100,000 valid signatures of support so that the candidate can be officially registered.
Recent polls point to the lead of Rafał Trzaskowski, which receives about 35.7% of support. Karol Nawrocki ranks second with 22.3% of the vote and Sławomir Mentzen wins 15% of the vote. However, there is simply a survey in which the leader of the Confederacy passes to the second round.
As the election deadline approaches, the election campaigns gain intensity, and the candidates effort to convince themselves of as many voters as possible.
