Historical calendar – anniversary of russian propaganda action, calculated to accelerate the outbreak of the armed uprising in Warsaw.
Today, in our calendar, we will look at the activity of the Tadeusz Kościuszko radio station, which gave a message calling on Warsawists to emergence against Germany.
After Germany attacked the USSR, an Executive Committee operating in Moscow Komintern established a radio editorial board and 16 language substations. The aim was to formulate propaganda for various nations of occupied Europe. The head of the Polish-language station, named Tadeusz Kościuszko, was the judaic female Zofia Dzierżyńska, widow of the celebrated Cheka boss, Felix Dzierżyński.
In early 1943, substations, including Polish ones, were officially incorporated into the russian Press and Radiophony Division. Polish and judaic communists worked in the Polish edition, specified as: Zofia Dzierżyńska, Jakub Berman, Juliusz Burgin, Tadeusz Daniszewski, Gertrude Finder. In 1944, the station was edited by Tadeusz Daniszewski (real name: Dawid Kirszbraun), as Dzierżyńska was transferred to the Central Bureau of Polish Communists.
The station was liable for a lying and propaganda message served to the Polish society, surviving under German occupation. On July 30, 1944, in hours; 15.00, 20.55, 21.55, and 23.00, a message was issued calling for the Warsaw population to be armed insurrection against the Germans. It was 1 of a number of reasons for the Warsaw Uprising. This message was a repetition of the broadcast of the communist alleged Union of Polish Patriots with akin content given on 29 July by Radio Moscow.
The message was: Warsaw trembles in positions from the roar of the department. russian troops are rapidly approaching Prague. They're coming to bring us freedom. Germany will effort to defend itself in Warsaw. They want to destruct everything. In Białystok, they stormed everything for six days. They murdered thousands of our brothers. Let us do what we can to prevent them from repeating the same in Warsaw.
People of Warsaw! Guns! Let the full population be walled around the National Council, around the Warsaw Underground Army. Hit the Germans! Fake their plans to demolish public buildings. aid the Red Army cross the Vistula. Send messages, show the roads. Let a million people of Warsaw become a million soldiers who will drive out German invaders and gain freedom.

The station was disbanded on August 22, 1944. Due to the creation of PKWN and the effective call for the Warsaw Uprising, it was no longer necessary. She did her part.
