Sławomir Mentzen has almost a chance to enter the II tour – says Janusz Korwin-Mikke in an interview with Marek Skalski from “The ultimate Time!”, adding that Grzegorz Braun does not take votes from the president of fresh Hope. KORWN organization president shared his thoughts on the upcoming presidential election.
The presidential election is scheduled for May 18, and the second circular will take place 2 weeks later. More than 1 100 1000 signatures have been received by the State Election Commission from seventeen candidates, but not all have yet been registered.
On Saturday, April 5, PKW accepted applications from Sławomir Mentzen, Grzegorz Braun, Rafał Trzaskowski, Artur Bartoszewicz, Karol Nawrocki, Adrian Zandberg, Szymon Holownia, Mark Woch, Joanna Senyszyn, Magdalena Biejat and Marek Jakubiak.
– In spite of popular belief, col. Braun does not take votes from Mr Mentzen, he attracts a completely different electorate – noted Korwin-Mikke. – Answering the question if col. Braun is simply a supporter of the free market, you might say, in fact, yes, but that is not the reason people vote for him.
Commenting on the confusion in the Sejm, which occurred erstwhile Roman Gierty and Jarosław Kaczyński appeared on the platform, Korwin-Mikke quoted a celebrated saying: "Who lives in Poland does not laughter in the circus anymore".
– Mr. Mentzen's entry into the II circular is almost certain... the centreright appeared, which is not my ideal, due to the fact that I am right-wing alternatively than centreright, but at least this centreright will be in any sense right-wing – concluded Korwin-Mikke.
