W London's electrical bus caught fire, making it the 3rd to go on fire in the UK capital this month. On Wednesday, firefighters extinguished the flames that consumed a one-deck bus in a bus garage on Chelverton Road in Putney. 20 people were evacuated from the garage before arriving.
In a communication addressed to staff, bus carrier Go Ahead reported that about 380 electrical buses are presently under ‘prophylaxis control’. He added that "the kind of events that took place at our headquarters" on Wednesday are "very rare".
Probably erstwhile a week is very rare. I wonder what they'll say erstwhile it happens all day?
