It was Kaczyński and PiS who broke the church's neck in Poland.

The monument of the first rector of the Catholic University of Lublin and of the renaissance of Poland of Father Ejej Benedict Radziszewski (1871-1922) was dismantled. I remember perfectly well the case of Archbishop Stanislaw Wielgus. Archbishop, who was the Rector of KUL from 1989 to 1998. Archbishop Wielgus was not an enthusiast of Solidarity and the full Styrofoam narrative. I remember precisely the shameful function of the Polish paper and Lech Kaczyński.

In 2006, Pope Benedict XVI transferred Stanisław Wielgus to the office of Archbishop of Warsaw Metropolitan.
