My opposition to this war is due to 3 main reasons: work for loved ones, realism and patriotism. I don't want individual in my household dying. I am convinced that our greater commitment to war is neither wise nor profitable. I love Poland and I want it to last and grow.
The subject of war concerns all Poles. due to the fact that in the process, the biological existence of the nation is threatened. Many of us are of draft age, many have children or grandchildren. Many of you have boyfriends, partners, husbands at this age. It is crucial to realise that the war in Ukraine can proceed for many more years. If your boy or grandson is 14 years old today, it is real that in the event of a greater commitment of Poland in 4 years he may be on the front. And there to lose my life.
There are matters which must unite all Poles regardless of political views, class conditions, spiritual or worldview views. This is the issue of opposition to war and of pushing Poland into it.
Opposition to war should be first-rate and universal today. Poland needs surviving citizens, not dead people. Nieboszczyk is of no usage to either our national community or the Polish state. Whether he was closer to conservative or liberal, or he referred to himself as right or left. Whether he was a believer or not. Capitalist, socialist, liberal, endek, populist, monarchist, communist, anti-systemist – just as he dies. A kid with a broken skull and a splattered brain no longer has any political or worldview dilemmas. The gravestone in the cemetery – if the body is found – looks precisely the same.
Therefore, together against the war. I'll be on the 1st of May march, which will depart from the Traugutt Cross. I want all opponents of war well – including those who will participate in another marches. And what is critical of this initiative for various reasons.
Those who think that it is worth to engage more in the war in Ukraine – I advise to walk through the Military Cemetery in Powązki. Especially after the quarters of insurgents from Warsaw. There's quite a few kids down there. They could live, learn and work for Poland. Fall in love, start a family, make passions and wait for grandchildren. But there was no force to cool the warmed-up romanticist minds. There's dead bodies left. Many failed then.
Evil must be opposed. Not for war.
