Iranian media has published a list of missiles that could hit Israeli territory

Iran has 9 types of missiles with a scope adequate to impact in Israel's territory – informed the Iranian press agency ISNA after the Israeli attack on Iran's Consulate General in Damascus earlier this week.

"After the criminal attack by the Israeli government on the Iranian consulate building in Damascus, Iran's consequence to the crime will cast a dense shadow on Israel," reported the agency in a study accompanied by an infographic showing the diversity of missiles, the scope of which allows an impact in Israel's territory.

The infographic presented by ISNA presents 9 ballistic missiles: Sajil, Kheybar (fourth generation of Khorremshehr missiles), Emad, Shahab-3, Ghadr, Paveh, Fattah-2, Kheybar Shekan and Hajj Qasem. The velocity of the presented missiles ranges from Mach 5 to Mach 14 (6 120 km/h to 17 136 km/h).

The agency's message appeared in the face of an increased tension in the mediate East region due to an air raid on Monday by the Israeli air force on the Iranian Consulate General building in Damascus. The Iranian muslim Revolutionary defender Corps (IRGC, elite armed forces units) reported that 7 IRGC officers, including 2 elder advisor generals, were killed, Mohammad Reza Zahedi, commander of the Qds IRGC Force in Syria and Lebanon, and his deputy, Brigadier General Mohammad Hadi Haji Rahimi.

The consulate building besides housed the Iranian ambassador residence in the arabian republic, Hossein Akbari, who was not injured. According to the Syrian Ministry of Defence, the consulate building was destroyed as a consequence of the attack.

Iran's president Ebrahim Raisi said Israel would pay a advanced price for the attack, and opposition leaders in the region stated that it was essential to usage all possible measures to face Israel to support the Palestinian Hamas movement and another armed Palestinian formations in the Gaza Strip.
