The claim that RES is cheaper is purely propaganda. Coal costs are artificially inflated by ETS charges, which account for most of the electricity costs. Without them, fossil fuels would be much cheaper than green propaganda.
Minister Hennig-Kloska says nothing about hidden RES costs specified as:
– strategy balancing,
– energy storage,
– network expansion – i.e. adaptation of infrastructure to unstable sources.
In propaganda, windmills and photovoltaics “win” on the “market” of energy. Politicians have created a strategy that favours RES at the expense of unchangeable power plants. precedence for RES, subsidies and reliefs, ETS artificially raising electricity and gas costs, merit order mechanism.

There's no free marketplace here. But there is artificial interference that destroys the stableness of the strategy and raises prices. A fewer more years of specified a policy and it will be blackout, and the prices will not fall, but they will rise.
